Obituary: Hester Walls Henley, age 95, of Morrilton, passed away , May 25, 2015. She was born 8, 1920 in Scotland, Arkansas, a daughter of George and DaComa Woolverton Walls. She was the widow of Hervie Joe Henley, they were married for 59 years. Hester was a member of Hattieville Church of Christ and she taught in Van Buren, Conway and Perry Counties and served as a principle at Perryville Elementary. She is survived by her daughter, Joann (Bruce) Davenport of Morrilton; granddaughter, Kellie (Casey) Rine of North Little Rock; and great grandchildren, Issac Rine and Ivy Rine of North Little Rock. services will be 10:00 a.m. , May 28th at the Harris Chapel with Mr. Randy Rankin officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove in Scotland by Harris of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. , at the funeral home. |

Obituary: Dorothy Virginia Goodwin Henley, 83, of Conway and formerly of Norphlet, died , 11, 2015, in Conway. She was born 7, 1931, to Lelas R. and Edith Longing Goodwin in Norphlet, Arkansas. graduating from Norphlet High School, she married Floyd E. Henley on 18, 1949. Together they established Hillview Egg Farm and Henley Feed and Farm Supply. In 1973 the Henley family was named Union Farm Family of the Year. In 1982, they founded Henley Auction Service and for over 25 years held auctions throughout South Arkansas. Mrs. Henleys greatest joy and highest calling was in her role as wife and mother, which she fulfilled with an abundance of love. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Norphlet for most of her life, and later First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. Preceding her in death were her parents and her loving husband of 65 years, Floyd Eric Henley. Those left to cherish her memory are four sons and one daughter, Ric Henley (Karen) of Hot Springs, Waylan Henley (Becky) of Springdale, Holly Rambin (Glenn) of Grady, Richard Henley (Amanda) of Conway, and Keldon Henley (Celeste) of Arkadelphia; one brother, Earl Bowerman (Karen) of Lake Oswego, OR; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one expected. Visitation will be held at 2:00 , 15, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Norphlet Fellowship Hall. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00 with Rev. Marcus Rogers officiating. The nine grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow at Rehobeth under the direction of Young's Directions. Memorials may be made to Ouachita Baptist University, 410 Ouachita St., Arkadelphia, AR 71998, or Conway Christian School, 500 East German Lane, Conway, AR 72032.
