Obituary: David Lee Hall, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior on 9, 2015. He was born 17, 1926 to James and Ruth Hall of Little Rock. David was married to his beloved wife Dorothy Wright Hall for 56 years until her death in 2002. For the past 10 plus years he has been married to Polly Fletcher-Hall. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Ruth, his first wife, Dorothy, his siblings Robert Hall, Wesley Hall, Charlene Watkins (St. Louis, MO), Dr. Leland Hall (Melbourne, FL) and Dr. Andrew Hall (Fayetteville, AR). He is survived by his loving wife of almost 11 years, Polly Fletcher-Hall, one brother, Gary Hall (Theresa), two sons Jay Alan Hall (Katherine) and Jon Wesley Hall (Rhonda) of Cummings, GA and daughter Jana Lee Wells (Ken), one step-daughter, Linda Fincher and two step-sons, Jim Fletcher (Rogers, AR) and David Fletcher (Colorado Springs, CO). David had 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren. David was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School and attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. A veteran of WWII, David served as a gunner’s mate in the US Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Lake Champlain. He was a retired appraiser from the FHA single/multi-family division, VP at Savers Federal Mortgage and Asset Manager at Resolution Trust . David’s two main passions in life were his family and serving the Lord through his church. He was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church for 60 years. He volunteered with the Visiting Nurses Association, Nail Benders Association, and Immanuel Food Pantry and served on mission trips to Brazil and Guatemala. David loved playing golf, fishing, hunting and was an avid Razorback fan. He was a long time member of the Over the Hill Hunting Club. A celebration of David’s life will begin with a visitation at 10:30 a.m. and a funeral at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church on , 12th. Officiating will be Immanuel Pastor Dr. Gary Hollingsworth and Associate Pastor of Senior Adults, Rick Jaggars. A private burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial . The family wishes to extend special appreciation to the V.A. and hospice nurses and all of David’s caregivers. Obituary: Christine Hall, 83, of Searcy passed away , May 19, 2015, at her residence. She was born 11, 1931, to the late Sam Hall and Willie Evel Washington Jones in Revels, Arkansas. Ms. Christine was raised by her Uncle Richard Hall until she moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to live with her mother for one year before moving to Chicago, Illinois, where she lived until 1980. Then she returned to Arkansas to live out the rest of her life. She leaves behind her beloved children, Christopher Anthony Hall of Searcy, Kevin Hall (Yolonda) of Indianapolis, Indiana, LaVerne Fultz (William) of Searcy, Lovell Denise Washington (Keinon) of Markham, Illinois, Franklyn Hall (Regina, preceding her in death) of San Antonio, Texas, and Debra Marie Hall of Searcy; precious grandchildren, Tanya Nicole Buchanan (Pierre), Kevin Hall Jr., Willie DeAngelo Hall (preceding her in death), Kinyata Christine Gray-El-Joumaa, Akeyda Denise Marie Bowman, Braxton Hall and Brandon Hall; cherished great grandchildren, Parriun Deion Buchanan, TeNaya Olivia Nikole Hall, and Taigen Hall-White; and a host of relatives and friends she loved dearly. Ms. Christine was baptized at an early age professing her belief in God. She became a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Searcy. She loved to sing in the church choir, and was voted the eatest girl in elementary school. She loved music--blues and gospel--and enjoyed word search puzzles. She was a prayerful woman who sought Gods counsel often on behalf of her progeny and others. She knew the Lord was her Shepherd and that she would not want. One scripture, a testament of her life and endeavors is Philippians 3:12-14 (CEV). Ms. Christine was surrounde,d by Gods favor. A woman who walks with God will always reach her destination.
