Obituary: Raymond Murl Hollingsworth, 87, died , 20, 2017, in the local hospital. He was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to the parents of Willis and Ollie Hollingsworth and resided in Westlake and Sulphur until his passing. He was a veteran of the United States Naval Reserve. He retired from Conoco after 28 years. He was owner of Westlake Farm and Garden. He was also the owner of R & R Auto Sales in the Lake Charles area. He was an ACTS Brother and an active member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. He was a wonderful brother, husband, father, grandfather, great -grandfather and friend. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Gwen Hollingsworth of Sulphur; four daughters, Donna and husband, Snubbie Reeves of Gillis, Teresa and husband, Bill McBride of Sulphur, Mary and husband, Bobby Cholley of Sulphur, Pam and husband, Tommy Benoit of Sulphur; three sons, Boyce (Bub) and wife, Charlotte Hollingsworth of Sulphur, John and wife, Belinda Hollingsworth of Sulphur, Rory and wife, Tiffany Hollingsworth of DeQuincy; one sister, Wilma Hollingsworth Dykes of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; two sister-in-laws, Pat and husband, Jess Gillard of Newton, Texas, Jeanette and husband, Dennis Mitterlehner of Brenham, Texas; 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Aaron Golden and Kenzie Golden-Roden; son-in-law Todd Juranka and brother-in-law Charles Dykes. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. , 22, in St. John Bosco Catholic Church of Westlake. The Father Michael Barras will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia in Westlake, under the direction of Hixson of Westlake. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. ,an ACTS Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. on in the funeral home, visitation will continue from 8 - 9:30 am at the funeral home until time of service at the church. Obituary: James Hollingsworth, a loving husband, father, son, and friend, passed away on , May 6, 2017 at OLOL at the age of 34. He was born in Beaumont, TX and a resident of Denham Springs, LA. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was employed with Waste Management as a Senior District Fleet Manager. James enjoyed all outdoor activities including looking for UFOs. Known for his pranks, he will be remembered for his mischievous personality and when you saw his dimples, something was up. Obituary: Jack Robert Hollingsworth, 59, passed away on , 14, surrounded by his family. He was born on 15, 1957 in Kinder, LA. He grew up in Reeves, LA. He married Cathy Bullock on 16, 1975 and they raised their family in Sulphur, LA. He was affectionately known to most as PaPa Jack and later to his seven grandkids as PawPaw Jack. Jack was a devoted husband and father. He loved his family with a truly unconditional love. Jack had a magnetic personality. To know him was to love him, he never met a stranger. If you were his friend you were his family. He spent lots of time over the years hunting and fishing with his only son, Bryan, and he treasured the time they spent together. He taught his girls, Lee Ann and Lindsay, to be independent and showed them what to expect from a good husband by his love for their mother. His 'in-law' children, Candace, Jarad and Matt, were just his kids, he took them into his family and loved them all the same. Jack and Cathy enjoyed traveling and taking bike trips on their Harley. Times spent with his wife were his happiest. He was so proud of his grand babies: Bailey, Katelyn, Carlee, Jackson, Lilly, Lucy, Hattie (and baby Miles on the way) will always know how much their PawPaw Jack loved them. He leaves behind his loving sisters, Grace Smith and husband, Dick, and Ann Winzor. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucille Hollingsworth; and his brother in law, Rusty Winzor. Above all he had faith in God and trusted in His plans for his life. That faith is what will carry his family through this difficult time. He will be missed by so many and remembered for his love of life, his family and his joyful spirit. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. , 17, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial . Brother Gil Broussard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. and from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service on .
