Obituary: Rockwell City – Nicholas C. Hildreth 28, passed away , 17, 2014 at Stewart Memorial Hospital, Lake City, from injuries suffered in a tragic accident. services will be 1:30 p.m. , 22, at Woodlawn Christian Church, Lake City, with Rev. Alice Bolen officiating. Burial will be at Rosehill , Rockwell City. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. at the Palmer & Swank , Rockwell City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Nick is survived by his wife Kylie; their children, Kolten, Noah, Holden, and Hayden; his parents, Julie and Craig Hildreth of Lytton; sisters, Rose Hildreth of Lake City, and Hannah Hildreth of Lytton; mother and father-in-law, Jodi and Jeff Frank of Rockwell City; grandparents, Doris Hildreth of Rockwell City, and Johnnie and Beth Shoemaker of Churdan; grandparents-in-law, Bud and Janet Toms; brothers and sisters-in-law, Courtni and Cory Witt of Elkhart, and Blake and Carla Frank of Granger; nieces and nephews, Connor, Cora, Aiden, Allana, Jared, and Peyton; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Joey Hildreth; and grandfather Eugene Hildreth. Nicholas Craig Hildreth was born 29, 1986 at Lake City. He graduated from Rockwell City/Lytton High School, with the Class of 2004. He then graduated from Iowa Central Community . On 7, 2004 he was united in marriage to Kylie Frank at the Woodlawn Christian Church, and the couple made their home in Rockwell City. Nick worked at C & S Products in Fort Dodge, and then for Suzlon Wind Energy in Humboldt. He was an active member of the Woodlawn Christian Church, Rockwell City Fire Dept., and also coached many youth sports teams in the community. Nick was a generous, selfless, and loving husband, father, son and brother. He enjoyed running with his father and son Kolten, playing basketball, camping, spending time at Spirit Lake and the farm, but most of all spending time with his family. |

Obituary: Harold Jack Hildreth, 84, passed away on , May 1, 2015. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m., , May 6, 2015 at the Ankeny First United Methodist Church (206 SW Walnut Street, Ankeny, IA 50023). A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 11:00 a.m., , May 6, 2015 at the Ankeny First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow services in the Lincoln in Alleman, IA. Bojack was born on 7, 1930, in Ankeny, IA to Rufa and Grace (Woods) Hildreth. He graduated Ankeny High School in 1950 as an All-Stater for the Basketball team; he later attended Iowa State University on a football scholarship. In 1952, he married his High School sweetheart Charlene White and they were blessed with three children. Bojack co-owned S & H Decorating, where he worked as a painter. He served in the Navy Reserves. Bojack loved working with his hands, restoring furniture, making knifes, or fixing things around the house. He worked hard and played hard, he will be remembered for his kind heart, fun loving nature, his knack for telling a good story and his sense of humor. Harold is survived by his wife of 62 years; Charlene, daughters; Carol (Ray) Peterson, Diane (David) Drake, son; Brian (Jodi) Hildreth, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents; Rufa (Grace) Hildreth, brothers; Irving and Richard, sisters; Virginia and Jean, grandsons; Nickolas Hildreth, Shannon OConnor, and his favorite dog Brown Bear. Obituary: Frances Dee Hildreth, 81, passed away 25, 2015 at the Mercy Hospice . Visitation will be at 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of her life on , 28, 2015 at Ankeny . Fran was born 12, 1933 in Denton , Texas to Ozell and Gussie Mae Washburn where she graduated at age 16 from Prosper schools. She attended Mary Hardin Baylor University and graduated Alpha Chi (small school Phi Beta Kappa) with a degree in English and Physical Education. She was editor of her college Newspaper and Year Book, the Bell. graduation, she taught school in Killeen, Texas where she met Keith Hildreth, a young Iowa corporal stationed at Fort Hood. were married 22, 1955 and after his discharge they moved to Iowa while Keith completed school at ISU. lived in several different places during their life including Minneapolis, New Hampton and Hampton, Iowa, Lincoln, Nebraska and Ada, Oklahoma, which is where they lived for almost 30 years. Two years ago they returned to Ankeny to be closer to family. Wherever she lived, she made it home for her family and became an important part of the community. She created lasting friendships where ever she was.You could count on Fran to belong to multiple bridge and golf clubs, enjoying the competition and fellowship. It wouldn take the communities long to figure out how capable she was and her willingness to volunteer and help. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, a school teacher, piano player at church, school activities and church functions. She was school superintendent and led many years of summer bible camps. Fran had a great sense of style, from her clothes, to her home and her food. She took great pride in her appearance and it was a rare moment if you caught her not looking her best. She was a great cook and never met a hamburger she didn like. She touched hundreds of lives for the better. The strength of the bonds in her family is her legacy, along with the lives of her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed. Fran was preceded in death by her parents; Ozell and Gussie Washburn, brother-in-law; Eddie Carr and sister-in-law Carole Ballard. She is survived by her husband; Keith, children; Jill (Joe) Webster, Greg (Karen) Hildreth, and Kevin (Shelly) Hildreth, grandchildren; Kyle (Susan), Kelli, Chelsea, and Ian Hildreth, Katie Hildreth, Sean and Brad Rosa, and great granddaughter; Lily Hildreth, along with sisters-in-law; Susan Johnson and Nancy Carr, and brother-in-laws; Tike Ballard and Merle Johnson.
