Obituary: Evelyn W. Goodman Hotchkiss died , 18th under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born in Alabama and moved to Savannah in the late 1940s. She worked at American Cyanamid/Kemira until retiring. She was a long time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hotchkiss was predeceased by her son, J. Robert Goodman, Jr.; her husband, J. Robert Goodman; and her second husband, Robert J. Hotchkiss. She is survived by her stepchildren David W. Hotchkiss (Connie), Vicki H. Garrett (Mike); two very dear friends, Dolores Cox and Steve Gill; three step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandsons. The Service will be , 23rd at Fairhaven , Hubert C. Obituary: Joseph Armand Hotard D.D.S, age 79, resident of Columbus, passed away on , May 21, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. services are scheduled on , May 24, 2015, 3:00pm in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, with Father OConnell officiating. The family will receive friends on , May 23, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm. A private burial and Dr. Hotards final resting place will be at Parkhill . Dr. Hotard, son of the late Joseph Leslie Hotard and Evelyn Louise Pacetty, was born 31, 1935 in Columbus, Georgia. He was a Retired Endodontist and with a private practice in Atlanta. Dr. Hotard was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a very well educated man and had many accomplishments to celebrate in his lifetime. Dr. Hotard attended and graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Louisiana State University in 1958, he was the biggest LSU fan imaginable. He was also initiated into the Alpha Epsilon Delta National Premedical Honor Society during his schooling at LSU. graduation, he attended University of Oklahoma and certified in Cytotechnology. Dr. Hotard enlisted and served honorably in the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant in 1969. Shortly after his service, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Emory University and was member in the Supreme Chapter at Delta Sigma Delta. Dr. Hotard served his residency in Endodontia at the Veterans Administration Hospital from 1971-1972 in Atlanta, Georgia, in which he then completed his Postgraduate Program in Endodontics from Emory University. Dr. Hotard was a very active member in both the American Dental Association as well as the American Association of Endodontists. He was preceded in death by his parents; and oldest son, Joseph Martin Hotard. Dr. Hotard is survived by his wife, Susan Cummings Hotard; son, Christopher Bryan Hotard; granddaughter Jessica Bailey Hotard; step-son, Jonathan Kyle Cummings (Colleen); step-daughter, Susan Cummings Haycock (Carlton); step-grandchildren, John, Tyler, Madison, Story; brothers, T. Gabriel Hotard D.D.S. (Patricia), Neil Hotard (Karen), Laurence K. Hotard; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Condolences may be offered at www.shcolumbus.com. |

Obituary: In loving memory MIGUEL ANTONIO HOSTIOS Miguel Antonio Hostios, 69 beloved father, husband, and friend. Miguel died at home with his family by his side, on , 12th, 2014. He was born in Colombia, South America. Son of Evangelina Hostios and Lisandro Hostios. During his youth Miguel played semi professional soccer for the Colombian team Santa Fe. In pursuit for a better life and opportunity he moved with his family to the United States in 1982. He is survived by his wife Elvira Torres Hostios; daughters; Claudia Camacho and Sandra (Charles) Mainor of Winder; son; Michael Hostios of Winder; eight grandchildren; sister; Elvia Agudelo; brothers; Ramiro Hostios, Juan Hostios, Eduardo Hostios, Jamie Hostios, Christomo Hostios, and German Hostios. Memorial services will be held 17, 2014 at 11:00am in the Smith Memory Chapel. Rev. Martin Acevedo will officiate.
