Obituary: Mary Barbara Harrop 23, 1917 ~ 11, 2013 Chandler, Arizona ~ Mary B. Harrop, born in Boston, passed away at her home after a month-long illness. She lived in Brockton and Canton, Massachusetts for twenty years. marrying, she and her husband, Alfred Pollard Harrop, they moved to Pawtucket, Rhode Island where they lived for twenty-seven years while raising their family. Mary came to Monterey, California in 1965 where she made her home before moving to Chandler a year ago. Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker. Mary is survived by her children, Alfred Allan Harrop of Monterey, Douglas Harrop of North Situate, Rhode Island and Janice Demayo of Chandler; her wonderful grandchildren, Darren Demayo of Tempe, Arizona, Justin Demayo of Carmel Valley, California, Heather of Michigan and Jill Harrop of Rhode Island and many nieces and nephews including, Helen Deieso, Ida Franco and Gloria Vierra and their families. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, in 1989, her daughter, Dorothy Harrop, in 1993 and her sisters, Annie Petti, Julia Tanasio and Phil Deieso, all of Brockton. Visitation will take place at The Paul Mortuary Chapel this from Noon to 1:00 followed by graveside services at 2:00 PM at Monterey City . Obituary: William Henry "Bill" Harrison passed away on 5, 2015, at his home in Tucson, AZ, after a nine-month battle with bladder cancer. He was born May 6, 1928, in Portland, Oregon. Bill was kind and generous, and he never met a stranger. Bill had a strong memory and was a great story teller, he also enjoyed traveling and could still tell you the best route to get anywhere. Bill is survived by his wife, Adeline "Addie" Gauthier; four children, Robin, David (David Yu), Denise and Darel (Tamie); five grandchildren, Brittney (Bo), Nicole, Luke, Mandi and Trey ; three great-grandchildren, Reid, Paige and Cade, His sister Dorothy Akin of Hood River OR , many nieces & nephews, Addie's children, Rene' ( ) & Vicki (Randy). Bill is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years , Barbara, who passed on 9, 2001. Bill was deeply loved, and will be very much missed, by his entire family, all of whom kept in close contact with him. On the date of his passing, Bill and Addie celebrated their 131st-month wedding anniversary. Bill kept his legendary sense of humor to the very end. Close to his final day, he quipped to Addie that he looked forward to their anniversary, but that he "might not be up to taking her out to dinner." would have celebrated 11 years together on 5, 2016. Both widowed at the time they met, neither Bill nor Addie expected to find so much happiness in their later years. A memorial will be held , 10, 2016 at 2pm at the Tucson Meadows Clubhouse, 2121 S.
