Obituary: Daniel H. Gyomber, 92, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Kutztown, PA passed away on 30, 2014. He was born on 7, 1922 in Barberton, OH, 1 of 6 children to the late George Julius and Elizabeth (Pribula) Gyomber. Daniel was a paratrooper for the US Army and served in WWII, receiving a Purple Heart, American Theater Ribbon along with others. He was a retired shoe factory foreman who was an Auxiliary Police Officer, Kutztown, PA and a volunteer Fire Fighter for Goodwill Fire Co., Reading, PA. Daniel was the husband of the late Susan M. (Jacowski) Gyomber; father of 2 children, Joan La Faver, Orlando, FL and Thomas D., husband of Dolores Gyomber, Pottstown/Topton, PA; brother, Martin N. Obituary: Phillip William Gygi 12, 1933 - 11, 2015 Senior Master Sargent Phillip W. Gygi passed away on 11, 2015. Phillip was born in Holcomb Wisconsin 12, 1933 to his late parents Phillip and Thurley Gygi. Phillip served 23 years in the United States Air Force which brought him and family to Eglin AFB where he retired after moving to the Town of Niceville which he called home. Phillip enjoyed family gatherings around the pool, fishing, playing golf and piddling in his shop. He is survived by his wife of 12 years Joann Geisler, by his sisters Luella Flater and her family in Ladysmith WI, and Sandy Schoonover and family in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Also survived by his sons Randall C. Gygi and family of Crestview, Fl and Phillip D. Gygi of DeFuniak Springs, Fl. Phillip had 8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his late wife of 32 years, Audrey I. Gygi, his daughter Cheryl Ann Gygi-Vann and son Michael W. Gygi. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends. Obituary: GYERMELI, John Stephen, age 81, passed away on Nov. 29, 2014 at St. Joe's Hospital North. He was born in Palmerton, PA on Sept. 10, 1933 to John Joesph and Mary (Soos) Gyermeli. He married Louise (Musalo), who survives. He was a veteran of the Korean war serving in the US Air Force. He was the owner/ operator of Insulation Enterprises since early 80's working hand in hand with his son, John Jr. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Louise Gyermeli, one son, John S. Gyermeli Jr. (Carol), a daughter, Mary Lou Bartlett (Bret), a sister, Theresa Grube, three grandchildren, Laura Rice, Melissa Gyermeli, and John Stephen Gyermeli III. A visitation will be held on Dec. 2, 2014 6 - 8 PM at Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks Chapel. A Service will be held on Dec. 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Garden of Memories, Tampa. |

Obituary: Alexander Gyarfas, Jr., 67, passed peacefully on 11, 2015 in Port Orange, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Alexander was born in Donauworth, Germany, on 19, 1948, to the late Alexander and Viola Gyarfas. He and his parents sailed to the United States on the ship General Hallsey and arrived in New York City, New York on 6, 1949. The family moved to Trenton, New Jersey where he and his brothers grew up. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in of 1966 and served 3 years in Vietnam as an Air Traffic Controller. He attended the University of South Florida where he met his future wife, Bonnie. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences and a Masters Degree in Library Science. Alexander served as a Media Specialist with several organizations in Volusia . He worked at Daytona Beach Community , Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Halifax Medical . He joined the faculty of Spruce Creek High School in 1986 where he was the media specialist until his retirement in 2011. He enjoyed being a media specialist as this profession allowed him to share his love of learning with the students and teachers. He treasured his family and the outdoors and spent many hours riding his bike, going to the beach, and swimming in Kingsley Lake. He took every opportunity to educate his children and grandchildren on the wonders of nature. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Bonnie, his daughters Kyra Gregory (Tony Walsh) and Lara Gyarfas, Port Orange, his grandchildren Emily Gregory, A.J., and Olivia Walsh, Hannah and Myah Gyarfas, his brothers Nicholas Gyarfas (Yvette), Lafayette, Louisiana and Andrew Gyarfas, South Daytona, Florida, Sisters-in-law Cheryl King (Joe), Keystone Heights, Florida, Carol Strickland (Stuart), Kingsley Lake, Florida, Brothers-in-law Randy Flynn (Rachel), Jacksonville, Florida, Richard Flynn (Debbie), Lake Butler, Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Halifax Oncology for their care and support. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Halifax Hospice. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., 18, 2015 at Volusia Memorial 548 N. Nova Road Ormond Beach. Burial with military honors will follow in Volusia Memorial Park.
