Obituary: Lynn Chepurko Giorgianni completed her temporary assignment here on earth May 14, 2016, and returned to her permanent home in heaven following a five-year battle with cancer. Lynn was born on 12, 1950 in Englewood, New Jersey. She attended Cardinal Gibbons High School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and received her BA in Education from the University of South Florida in 1972, and subsequently completed her MBA at the University of North Florida in 1991. her marriage in , 1972 to John, she taught for ten years in various elementary schools in Jacksonville. She retired from CSX after spending the next 20 years in the Training and Development/HR departments. Lynn’s beautiful smile could always light up a room. She was a kind and generous person who always placed God first throughout her life. She attended daily mass whenever possible, and was also a Eucharist Minister. Lynn is survived by her husband John, sister Diana Chepurko (husband, Robert Sykes), sister-in-law Rosemary Gonzalez (husband, Michael) and brother-in-law George Giorgianni (wife, Ann). The funeral mass will be held , May 19th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 11730 Old St. ine Rd. at 11:30 am. Visitation will be one hour prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mayo Clinic for cancer research. |

Obituary: On , 29th Jesus called for Samuel Giordano to join him. Sam moved to Ormond Beach in the late 80s after retiring from trucking industry management in Cleveland, Ohio. For a few years he worked as gate security during the Volusia Fair & Youth Show. Sam served as an usher at prince of peace church in Ormond beach Also upon retirement he became an accomplished writer. To date he had six coffee table short story and poetry books published. Sam was born in Erie, PA and graduated from Gannon University. Surviving Sam are MaryAnne, his wife of 60 years of Ormond Beach, son Thom of Houston, TX and grandsons Christian and Nicholas of Ormond Beach. Viewing will be from 4-7 at Volusia Memorial in Ormond Beach. A Mass will be at 11am at Prince of Peace followed by interment at Volusia Memorial Park, located at 550 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174. Obituary: Giordano, Rose 88, of New Port Richey, passed away 17, 2016. She lived life passionately. She loved her family, singing, cooking, baking and being creative. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Patrick; and her daughter, Diane Giordan. Rose and Pat moved from Milford, CT to Pinellas Park, FL in 1983 where she worked at the Juvenile Welfare Board. She was passionate about flower arranging and won many awards for her beautiful arrangements. She was a member of the St. Petersburg Garden Club. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Kathryn) and Peter (Mona); her grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Christopher and Elizabeth; and two great-grandchildren, Trevin and Travis. Visitation will be on 1/21/16 from 5-7PM and the service on 1/22/16 at 10AM, both held at Sylvan Abbey . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to HPH Hospice. |
