Obituary: Almair Ginn, age 82, slipped into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on 29, 2017. She was born to the late Blaney and Lela Blanton on 3, 1934 in Rocky Mount, NC. While working at McClellans Five & Dime, she met the love of her life, LB Ginn of Snow Hill, NC. married in 1954 and resided in Wilmington, NC until his job with the railroad (later known as CSX) transferred them to Jacksonville, Florida in 1960 where she continued being a loving and devoted wife and mother, raising their three children. actively attended San Jose Baptist Church where Almair used her love of little children and her gift of teaching them about Jesus in school and in other capacities for many years. When her children were older she worked at BoAnns Gift Shop, managing it for several years. Retirement gave her more time to care for and show much love to her grandchildren and also to enjoy being more involved in her school class and the senior citizen group, ESP, socializing and travelling with many lifelong friends. She was known for her love of being a hostess, cooking, and baking scrumptious desserts for her family and friends. Almair was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was recently preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, and also ten brothers and sisters, assuring a much beloved eternal family reunion. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dewayne Ginn and wife, Marti of Chandler AZ, Terry Ginn of Jacksonville FL, Sheila Merritt and husband, David of St. ine FL; her grandchildren, Rachel, Amanda, and Jessica Ginn of Arizona, Joseph Merritt and wife Andrea of Louisville KY, Caroline Merritt of St ine FL; and many loving nieces and nephews in NC. A celebration of her life will be held at San Jose Baptist Church on 8, 2017 at 11:00 am with Reverend Mike Reed and Dr. Terry Gore officiating. The family will receive friends after 10:00am just prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will be held 10, 2017 at 10:30am at the Jacksonville National . Obituary: Patricia L. Gingue – Clearwater, Florida Patricia L. (Fournier) Gingue (Pat), 83, passed away on , 2, 2015 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida after a period of failing health. Born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Angelina (Desrocher) and Alfred Fournier. Pat married Roland Gingue on 9, 1950 whom she shared 64 years of marriage. Pat was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was paramount in her life. She had a warm smile and loved to spend time with family and friends. She loved traveling to visit family and attend the many special events and gatherings. She and her husband Roland operated a dairy farm in first Hardwick, Vermont and then Lancaster, New Hampshire for several years prior to relocating from Lancaster to Inverness, Florida. In 2013 she and Roland moved to the Clearwater area to be closer to family. Patricia is survived by her husband Roland of Clearwater. Daughter Suzanne McGrath and husband Shaun of Clearwater, daughter Annette Oliveri of Clearwater, son Roger Gingue and his wife Marsha of Bethlehem, NH, son Robert Gingue and wife Pam of Tok, Alaska, daughter Denise Moore of Manchester, NH, and son Richard Gingue and wife Dot of Owings, Maryland, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Yvette and her husband Remi of Paradise, CA. Pat’s family would like to thank the dedicated staff of HarbourWood and Rehab. and The Oak’s both in Clearwater for the excellent care she received over the course of the last year. Obituary: Russell H. Gingrich, 86, of Merritt Island, FL passed away , 15, 2015. A native of Lebanon, PA, Russell was stationed at Eglin AFB in Florida in 1961. He served 21 years with the United States Air Force and retired as a TSgt in 1969. Following his military career, he worked at KARS Park for 40 years. Russell attended Hope United Church of Christ in Rockledge. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and earned his 50 year pin last year. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mabel Gingrich and step-daughter, Jacqueline Silk. Russell is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Dorothy Gingrich; daughter, Rozlynne Goyer(Kevin); step-son, Dennis Gardner; grandchildren: Stephanie Abney and Tracy Silk; and great- grandchildren: Chelsea and Brennen Silk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hope United Church of Christ. A memorial service will be held , 21 at 11AM at Hope United Church of Christ in Rockledge. |
