Obituary: BERNICE WIGGINS GILROY 1923 - 2014 Bernice Wiggins Gilroy - 90 of Pensacola, Fl, died 30, 2014. Bernice was born in her maternal grandparents home in Pine Barrens, Fl on 9, 1923. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Middleton B. Gilroy (Fuzzy), her parents William & Abbie Wiggins and sisters Marilyn Miller, Connie (Charlie) Moats and Mae (Guy) Lott. Bernice is loved by her sister Robbie ( Marvin) Burke and a brother, Bill ( Charlotte) Wiggins; three children, Pam (Jock) Ronin, Patty (David) Johnson, Peter (Jennifer) Gilroy; Seven grandchildren, Molly( Ryan) Anthony, Mike (Julie) Ronin, Jamie (Meghan) Ronin, Peter Johnson, Jennifer (Mike) Huffman, Alyson Gilroy, Dayton (Lindsay) Gravely; and 9 7/8 great grandchildren! She also has many nieces and nephews. Bernice was married in Pensacola, Fl on 21, 1944. When the war ended she and Fuzzy moved to his home town of Lake Forest, IL. In 1984 they retired and returned to Pensacola. Bernice created and ran the Play School at The Winter Club in Lake Forest for 27 years. She was an active member of St. Mary's Church including several Circle groups. One of her favorite activities was bridge. She belonged to several groups including a couples dinner group. She was an amazing cook. services will be held at 11:00 a.m., , 08, 2014 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will be at Bayview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway is entrusted with arrangements. Obituary: Maurice H. Gilpin, 86, of Ocala, formerly of New York, NY, was called home for eternal rest on 14, 2015. Maurice moved to the Ocala area in 1989 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid bowler, loved sports, loved to laugh and loved being around his family. He is predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Clarisce Gilpin and son, Maurice Gilpin, Jr.; his mother and father; sister, Evelyn and brothers, Ernest, Bernard and Lowell. He is survived by his sons, Curtis of the Virgin Islands and Lashaun of Ocala; daughters, Sandra of the Virgin Islands and Verna of Raleigh, NC; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. on , 22, 2015 at Forest Lawn , 5740 S. Pine Ave., Ocala, FL 34480. services will also be held at the funeral home on , 23, 2015 at 1 P.M.
