Obituary: Victor ine Greco, 87, of Weirton, passed away , 16, 2017 in the Weirton Geriatric . He was born 28, 1929 in Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Domenico and Michelina Finamore Greco. He was also preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Hair Greco on 24, 2011, brothers Joseph, Alex and John, two sisters, Anna and Amelia and grandson Mario Tassan Greco. Prior to his retirement in 1994, Victor was a partner with his two brothers, Joe and Johnny in the Greco Plumbing & Heating in Weirton which originally started as Greco TV Cable & Plumbing. The family business is still in operation under the direction of his son Jimmy and wife Dee Greco. Victor was very active in the community and was an ambassador to his beloved City of Weirton. He would often be sighted driving his 1950 Red Ford affectionately known as Henry, in the Weirton Parades. He was instrumental in the foundation of the Weirton Area Museum and Cultural and took an active role in the rebirth of the Festival of Nations For 61 years, The Weirton Rotary Club was a big part of Victors life where, for over 60 years, he had perfect attendance at the weekly meetings. He served as its president from 1961-1962 and District Governor from 1996-1997. He was the 1972 Rotarian of the year, a Paul Harris Fellow and was bestowed the E.R. Hartman award named after the first District Governor. Victor and Marjorie hosted many exchange students, attended several international conventions and traveled the District, the State and the World.. The Friends of the West Virginia Northern Community named Victor Man of the Year. He was an active member of Saint Pauls Roman Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus 3734, and BPOE 1801. Victor served on numerous boards particularly Weirton Hospital , Fed One Bank, and Saint Pauls Parish. He is survived by his sons Victor Ray (Isha) Greco of Wheeling and Jimmy (Dee) Greco of Weirton; daughters Cindy (Rich) Lamp of Weirton and Susie (Phil) Lore of Nutley, NJ and grandchildren Richard and Megan Lamp, Victor, Alexandra and Dante Greco, Dominic, Danielle, Elaina and Sophia Lore. Visitation will be held 6-8pm and 1-3 and 6-8pm at the Greco-Hertnick , 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Larry Dorsch will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul , Weirton. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Easter Seals of Wheeling, WV, Weirton Madonna High School, Saint Pauls Church or the Weirton Area Museum. |

Obituary: Leona J. Greathouse Leona Greathouse, 82, of Barrackville went home to be with her Lord on 19, 2014. She was born in Fairmont on 29, 1932 a daughter of the late Aaron and Mildred Swisher. She was a faithful member of the Fellowship Baptist Church since 1959, she was one of the first members. She served many positions in the church, her favorite being her School Class and Vacation Bible School. She loved preparing and cooking food for many church banquets and for many bereaved church members. In addition, she served in the church nursery. Her hobbies included, sewing, crocheting, cooking, catering and shopping. She was most happy teaching her grandchildren and great grandchildren her many skills. Leona was a homemaker, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved spending time with her family. In addition she was employed at Westinghouse Lamp Plant for 10 years. She is survived by her children, daughters, Debbie Shroyer and her husband Tom of Barrackville, Kim Greathouse Shaw of Barrackville and her son Bill Greathouse and his wife Ruthann of Barrackville; her sister, Martha Nunez of Fairmont; a brother-in-law, Gordon Bud Ralphsnyder of Fairmont; her grandchildren include, Angela Greathouse of Barrackville, Erin Greathouse of Florida, Mindy Kincaid of Barrackville, David Shroyer of Barrackville, Tyler McDonald of Barrackville and two great granddaughters, the pride and joy of her life, Emily Kincaid and Jadelynn Barber both of Barrackville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Leona was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Greathouse; sisters-in-law, Gloria Greathouse Ralphsnyder, Joyce Greathouse Capet, Betty Greathouse Hartsell and a brother-in-law, ine Nunez. Friends and Family may call at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 28 Fellowship Drive, Fairmont, WV (Meadowdale Community) on from 5pm to 9pm and on Noon to 1pm. The funeral service will be at the church at 1pm on with Pastor Ron Blackburn and Pastor Glen Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah on State Route 73 in Monongalia .
