Obituary: James Randall Gifford Born May 22, 1930, in Seattle, Washington and went to be with his Lord 29, 2012, in Burien, Washington. He is preceded in death by Margie, his wife of 53 years. He is survived by his children, Cathy (Bill) Moor, Connie (Dwight) Corella, Pat (Mike) Worden, Pam (Murray) Idler, Jamie (Becky) Gifford, Randy (Kelly) Gifford, his 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, his two brothers Ken and Jack Gifford and his sister Kay Saxwold. A memorial service will be held on , 9, 2012, 6:30PM at Grace Church,10323 28th Avenue in Seattle. entrusted to Yaringtons , 206-242-2771, www.yaringtons.com. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE James Randall Gifford (aka Jim, Jimmy) was born on May 22, 1930 in Seattle, Washington to James and Genevieve Gifford. He had five brothers and four sisters, and was raised by his father and older sister Margie after his mother died when he was three years old. Jim was a West Seattle native, graduating from West Seattle High School and attending Seattle University on a basketball scholarship. On 14, 1951, he married the love of his life, Margie Cooper and they raised six children together. He worked for many years at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation in West Seattle, where he was the Storeroom Manager. retiring from the steel mill, he worked for over 30 years at Grace Church, retiring this past 2012. Jim loved sports! He played basketball and baseball at West Seattle High, and went on to play both basketball and baseball at Seattle University, until he left school to support his family. He was on bowling teams with his siblings in West Seattle, and pitched in a local fastpitch softball league for many years. he retired from playing, he enjoyed attending and watching sporting events. He faithfully attended his children's, grandchildren's and even great grandchildren's sporting and school events, always lending his love and support. He was devoted to his family and rarely missed a birthday, graduation or wedding. Jim enjoyed watching old Westerns, keeping up on the news, arguing politics, teasing his wife and children, West Seattle Monogram Club events, going out to lunch with his wife, children, siblings and friends, and walking with his friends. He also enjoyed annual trips to Disneyland and Cannon Beach with his extended family. He accepted the Lord as His Savior in 1963, and Jim's love for God was very real, most recently evidenced in his battle with cancer. He handled it with strength, dignity and as always, love and concern for his family. Jim was an amazing husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend, and a Godly role model for all of us. Jim greatly grieved the loss of his wife Margie in 2005 after 53 years of marriage. He is survived by his sister Kay Saxwold, brothers Ken and Jack Gifford, his six children: Cathy and her husband Bill Moor; Connie and her husband Dwight Corella; Pat and her husband Mike Worden; Pam and her husband Murray Idler; Jamie Gifford and his wife Becky; and Randy Gifford and his wife Kelly; his fifteen grandchildren - Christy (Moor) Price and her husband Kevin; Kyle Moor; Shawna(Moor) Steenback and her husband Mark; Kimmie Moor; Nicole Corella; Jeni(Corella) Watson and her husband Max; Rachel Corella; Cassi (Corella) Hansen and her husband Kory; Nathan Worden and his wife Chrissy; Jeremy Idler and his wife Cassie; Julie Idler; Jackie (Gifford) Alvarez and her husband C.J.; James Gifford; Ryan Gifford; Jordyn Gifford and thirteen great grandchildren. |

Obituary: George Gregory Gifford, beloved son, brother, and friend, was born in Seattle, Washington on May 11, 1958. He passed away on 27, 2014 at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, Washington. George attended Juanita High School in Kirkland. school, he served four years in the US Navy. Then George began his 33-year carreer in the construction industry. He was a proud member of the International Union Of Operating Engineers Local 302. He truly loved his job and we were told many times that he was one of the best in his field. He was a great outdoorsman. He loved hunting, but his greatest passion was fishing. Nothing put a bigger smile on his face than holding up "the big one." George also enjoyed building and flying his remote controlled airplanes. Another passion of his was cooking-and we must say, he was fantastic at it! His big smile and great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him. You left us way too soon, but rest in peace dear one, until we meet again. George is preceded in death by his dad Joseph N. Gifford. He is survived by his mother Maralene M. Obituary: Falcnor Lowell Gifford, born at home near Haviland, Kansas, on 11, 1917 to Robert W. and Eva (Pyle) Gifford. He died at Memorial Hospital on 27, 2011 surrounded by his family. Falcnor served in the Army Air Force during WW II. He was stationed at Hickam Field, next to Pearl Harbor, during the 1941 bombing. He married Goldie Parker on 1, 1946 at her home near Trousdale, Kansas. graduating from Kansas State University with a degree in Agricultural Engineering, Falcnor worked for Boeing in Wichita, then Soil Conservation Service and finally Bureau of Indian Affairs. He and Goldie moved a few times, eventually to Yakima in 1968 with their 3 boys. Falcnor was active at Wesley United Methodist Church. He had great fun playing cards with friends. He also loved working with wood and other projects around the house. Falcnor was active in the 43rd Bomb Group and attended several reunions around the country. He was involved in the Yakima Engineers Club, Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Goldie; sons: Rick (Jan) Gifford of Yakima, Carl (Nancy) Gifford of Buckley, Larry Gifford of Selah; sisters: Mercedes Strong of Wichita and Roberta Gifford of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Scott, Lauren, Amanda, Bryce, Jessica & Garrett, Douglas and Steven; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Linaye, Dillon, Piper and Alessa. Preceded in death by: his parents and sister Avis Brooks and brothers Lyle and Dale Gifford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial Hospital Cottage in the Meadow, Union Gospel Mission or a charity of choice. Falcnor is dearly loved by his family. We will miss him greatly. Visitation will be at Noon to 5:00 p.m. , 31, 2011 at Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. A Service will be 11:00 a.m. , 1, 2011 at the Keith & Keith Terrace Heights Chapel.
