Obituary: Virginia Dare Grove entered the world on , 30, 1939 and, surrounded by loved ones, returned home on , 29, 2015. She was 75 years old when she was reunited with her mother, four siblings, and grandson. She was born in Block, Tennessee, a small mining town, to Nancy Agnes and Kelly Calvin Jones. She was the youngest of seven children. She is survived by her children Jana (Brent) and Mark (Tamera); grandchildren Danika (Troy), Breàna (Michael), and Amanda; great grandchildren Hayden, Quincey, Durden, Jocelynn, Brooklyn, and Tessa; and her brothers Buddy and Thurman. Obituary: The family of William (Bill) Bradford Grotegut is pleased to announce his return to his Father in Heaven. Bill was born 24, 1927 to William Loren Grotegut and Mary Emma Bradford in Spanish Fork, Utah. Later Bill married his sweetheart, Carol Jean Stewart. Together they raised four children: William Bryan (Rosalind); Michael Stewart (Nola); Shireen Swan (Steven); Charlayne Curtis (Duane). also have 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Bill worked as an accountant at Geneva Steel. He proudly served his country in the Navy. He is a World War II veteran. Bill served the Lord in many callings. Bill and his wife, Carol, served in the London, England mission. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a brother, Glade Grotegut (Ellen), a sister, Gloria Nelson (J. Wayne), and many nieces and nephews. His surviving family will miss him, but rejoice in his return home. services will be held, , 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Trails Ward Chapel, 90 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork. Family and friends may call evening, 3, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, or from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Obituary: David Charles Grossman was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on 22nd, 1914. He left us on 12th, 2011, surrounded by loving family members and friends. Dave grew up in Kaysville, Utah on the small farm owned by his mom and dad, Rose and Charles. In 1938 Daves sister introduced him to Ida Kohm in California. knew each other for only 11 days when Dave asked Ida to marry him and move to Utah with him. Ida was a California girl and Dave had to buy her a full length fur coat to keep her warm before she would join him in Utah. Luckily Idas uncle was a Rabbi. He married them on 27, 1938 and off they went to snow country. were devoted to each other for 68 years before Dave lost the love of his life Ida, on 9, 2007. Dave was a cattle buyer and was very well known in every small livestock town in Utah. He was well respected in all of the cattle auctions in Utah. His loved taking his three children on cattle buying trips and teaching them good work ethics. He would work hard from daylight to darkness, in the cold and in the heat, but he was always home on weekends and spent many happy hours with Ida and his children. He never seemed to run out of energy. Dave took up fishing when he was in his late 40s. He loved it. He spent a few trips in the high Uintas backpacking in on horseback and sleeping on the ground under the stars. He spent many fishing days on Deer Creek, Strawberry, and Flaming Gorge. He loved to see his fishing pole shake when a fish hit the lure while trolling from a boat. His eyes would light up when the fish was safely landed in the boat. Dave is survived by his daughter Barbara Ohail, husband John, and grandchildren John David and Patrick; son Marty, girlfriend Maria and grandchild Lisa Vandersteen, husband Marcel and great grandchildren Charles & Olivia, grandchild Todd, wife Rebecca and great grandchildren Angus and Rory; son Louis, wife Anne and grandchild Nate, wife Maurena, and great grandchild Samuel, grandchild Deana Skalny, husband Mark. The family always loved the Jewish holidays at Ida and Daves. Ida prepared wonderful meals and Dave would supervise, always sampling a little food along the way. Dave would wash all the big pots and pans when Ida instructed him to. He loved to do that, so more food could be prepared. Dave always made sure everyone had enough food and would prepare plates to take home. Dave will be so happy to join Ida and wash dishes for her again. Im sure Dave will have his hand under the table slipping a little food to his favorite grand dog Mowgli. Dave spent 97 wonderful years on earth. We all love you and will miss you, but know you will be so happy to be with Ida again. services will be held at 1:00 p.m., 18th 2011 at Evans & Early Mortuary, 575 E 100 S, SLC, Utah.
