Obituary: Louise Giese, age 74, lost her courageous battle with cancer and went home to the Lord on May 1, 2004. Louise loved the Lord and shared Him with everyone she came into contact with. Louise was the co-owner of the Forget-Me-Not Card and Shop in San Antonio. She started the first Precious Moments Club in Texas and was instrumental in founding the Hallmark Ornament Club in San Antonio. <br><br> LouiseÂs passion was for service to our Lord and began the Library at Buchanan West Baptist Church, served with the ÂShare the Harvest ministry of First Baptist Church of Kingsland, TX and was the lead singer of the Praise Team at the Flying L Chapel in Bandera. Her place in Heaven was prepared earlier by her son, Terry and parents, Ann Matlock and Herbert Heiser. <br><br>She is survived by her husband of 54 wonderful years, Jim; their daughter-in-law Misty Cable, her husband Dan and their sons, Slate & Landon of San Antonio; brother, Al Heiser and his wife Dolly of Canyon Lake; sister, Faye Galneau and her husband Tom of Colorado City and brother, Harvey Heiser and his wife Tootie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Louise was a gracious wife, loving mother, devoted friend and the worldÂs best grandmother, to Slate and Landon. <br> |

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, stepmother and wife. He is survived by his brother Mike ( Buffy) Gallegos Sister Sherri (Roger) Dumay daughters Nancy (Henry) Knapp of Lubbock TX, Donna (Ben) Hammock of Lubbock TX, and Meg ( Dan) Shea of Apple Valley, MN. He has 5 grandchildren Chris (Courtney) Hammock of Lubbock TX, Cassie Knapp of Lubbock TX, Katy Shea of Duluth, MN, Moe Shea of Apple Valley, MN and Donald Knapp of Lubbock TX. He was the keeper of all our family history ensuring our families legacy lived on. He was a proud business man and after retirement he followed his dream and became an artist specializing in his love the New Mexico Landscape. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. A special THANKS to Libby Claunch (his nurse and more importantly his friend) and all the Staff at Southhaven Assisted living who became an interracial part of our family for the past year and loved him as if he were their own. Obituary: CLELL EDSON GIERHART, JR., passed away peacefully at the age of 87, on 22, 2015, in Missouri City, Texas. He was born on 9, 1927, in Shamrock, Texas. He served in the United States Army at military posts in Japan and Korea from 1946 to 1947. Clell graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1951. Clell moved to Houston and married his college sweetheart, Jeanne Merilyn Bullen on 7, 1952. He started his career with Manhattan Construction . 15 years of loyal service, he left to organize his own firm, Bullen/Gierhart Construction in 1967. In 1980, he engaged in a partnership with Joseph T. Vaughn and the business was renamed Gierhart/Vaughn Construction . During his 40-year tenure in the construction industry, Clell served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Houston Chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC), Southern National Bank and Texas American Bank. A beloved husband, father and friend, Clell was highly regarded for his dedication to his family as well as his commitment to the training and advancement of his company employees. His endless generosity toward his family and his company associates will forever be his legacy. Clell was preceded in death by his parents, Clell Edson Gierhart, Sr. and Elsie Mae Gierhart, Sr. (Tarvin). He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanne Gierhart; his daughter, Sheri Roberts and her husband Jeff; his daughter, Jodi Shuck and her husband Phil; his grandchildren, Justin Roberts, Eric Roberts, Kristi Roberts, Kyle Shuck, Ryan Shuck; and his great granddaughter, Georgia Roberts. A Memorial Service celebrating Clells life will be held at 11:00 AM, on , 29, 2015, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Frwy, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit).
