Obituary: John Dee Geneva, age 84, passed from this life on , 22, 2015 in his home in Mabank, Tx where he lived for 32 years. John was born in 1931 to Dennis Albert & Ruby Victoria Geneva in Clayton , Oklahoma. John Dee Geneva was 84 years of age. He was born 19, 1931. John served in the Air Force as an (AP) Air Police starting in 1948. Following his military career, he briefly worked as a rough-neck in the Oil Field Industry and from there began his long running career as a dedicated & recognized truck driver for Merchant Freight Lines for 32 years. At his retirement he was given an Award for Driver Excellence for driving over 2 million miles without an accident. Deciding to retire really was NOT in John's vocabulary he continually maintained his farm and cut hay just as he did while working his day to day job on his time off during the week. Survivors include his children, Dennis Geneva of Mabank, Tx, Mark Geneva and his wife Stephanie from Seven Points, Tx, and Michael Geneva and his wife Lisa from Frisco, Tx. Grandchildren- Cody Geneva and John Dell Geneva & Lance Alan Geneva. Surviving Sisters & Brother, Alice Hammond and husband Ralph of Jacksboro, Texas; Nettie Marcus of Cedar Park, Texas; Shirley Burgess of Springtown, Texas, Quanah Schlesselman and husband Steven of Edmond, Oklahoma and Conny Geneva and wife Lois of McAlester, Oklahoma and for all his family of great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by his father Dennis Albert Geneva in 1975, mother Ruby Victoria Geneva in 2015, his sister Patsy Nell Weaver in 2003, and his brother Dwight Dennis Geneva in 2014. John's passion was farming, ranching and his children. He took great pride in his family as well as never meeting a stranger. His favorite tractor was a John Deere 4030 and loved to take four wheeler rides around his property. Taking care of his cows and personally naming each one of them. John was the happiest when he was on his farm cutting and bailing hay and taking care of his cattle along with his children beside him. John was a teacher he taught his children and friends the ethics of hard work and how it would pay off. John was talented and accomplished at everything he did. He believed in the old fashion ways that a Hand shake was good as a contract. Watching old Western Movies was his daily routine and loving his beloved dog Lola and feeding her cheese. Strong Character from the day he was born. Visitation will be held , 27th, 2015, from 6 p.m.- 8pm. At Sparkman-Crane . Celebration of Life: ; 28th, 2015 and will be at 12pm (Noon) at Sparkman-Crane . Obituary: Gerald L. Genaw Sr., 89, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on , 9, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas after a long illness. He was born and raised and lived the majority of his life in Port Huron, Michigan, relocating to San Antonio in 2001 to live closer to his children. Gerald was proud to have served in the Armed Forces for his country during World War II, serving in the China-Burma-India Theater as a member of the United States Army Office of Strategic Services. discharge from the Army, and while in Detroit, Michigan, he met the love of his life and future wife, Lenore Wutschke, where she was employed as one of the original Rosie the Riveters working on construction of airplanes to be used by American Allied Fighters in World War II. Gerald and Lenore were married 21, 1945 which was the beginning of a wonderful journey of 60+ years of married life. He was a husband and father who dedicated his life to his family with unyielding love and support. Mr. Genaw was employed by the Port Huron Paper for 39 years, from 1946 to 1985, when he retired as Sales Manager. Retirement brought many years of enjoyment traveling the country with his beloved wife and poodle Dandy by his side. His many passions included bowling, fishing, and golfing, and he was known to warble a tune or two whenever he got the chance. He was a lifelong member of the Elks and Moose Lodge of Port Huron, Michigan, as well as the American Legion and VFW of both Port Huron and San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents LeRoy and Gertrude Genaw, a sister Mary Krupa, a step-sister Dorothy Darling, and his beloved wife of 60+ years, Lenore. He is survived by two brothers, LeRoy Genaw of Minneapolis, MN and Thomas Genaw and wife Beverly of Penrose, NC; and his three children, Gerald L. Genaw, Jr. and wife Linda of Spring, TX; Lynne Raft and husband Earl of San Antonio, TX; and Janet Rider and partner Bruce Bailey of Centreville, VA; two grandchildren, Melissa Pickell of Oak Hill, VA, and Nick Genaw of Spring, TX; one great-grandchild, Megan Pickell, Oak Hill, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. till time of service, , 16, 2012, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.

Obituary: GRANBURY -- Timothy Genador, 74, of Granbury passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones , Aug. 24, 2014, at a local hospital.

Celebration of life: 12:30 p.m. in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills .

Tim grew up and went to school in Haltom City. He held a variety of jobs, including being a starter at Green Valley Raceway and construction of Interstate 20. Tim retired from General Motors in Arlington, where he worked for more than 30 years. Tim enjoyed working in his yard and puttering around in the garage. He most enjoyed being with his family and friends, had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed his water aerobic classes. He was a generous person who made many friends throughout the years.

Tim was preceded in death by his infant son, Gregory Genador; parents, Jacob and Minnie Genador; brother, Mark Genador; and a nephew, Daniel Hampton.

Survivors: Daughter, Gretchen Hord and her husband, Bill, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jessica Morales and her husband, Anthony, of Weatherford and Carter Hord and his wife, Chelsea, of Hudson Oaks; sisters, Rebecca Trammell of Granbury and Joyce Mitchell and her husband, Doug, of Fort Worth; lifetime love, Ronnie Goodner; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Isabel Morales and Campbell and Chandler Hord; nephews, Barry Price and Phillip Hampton and his wife, Stormy; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; a family of the heart, Jason Brimer and his partner, Jonda Shirley, and Shelley, Kelly, Madison and Abigail Mayo; and lifelong best buddy, Robert Payne.

Obituary: Brigadier General Paul Biediger, 83, of San Antonio, TX, answered his final call of duty on 24, 2016. He was born in San Antonio, TX on 16, 1932. graduating from St. Gerard High School, he enlisted in the 112th Armored Cavalry Regiment of the Texas Army National Guard on 21, 1950. He so impressed his superiors that in 1959 he attended Field Artillery OCS in Fort Sill Oklahoma and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery on 24, 1960.

This began his career in field artillery, culminating in his assignment to the 49th Armored Division Artillery in 1973. In 1980, he was promoted to Colonel and appointed Commander of the 49th, where he remained until 1984. He then became Chief of the Training Division HQ, State Area Command. He retired in 1987. He was promoted to Brigadier General (Brevet) in of 2001.

He is survived by his wife, Allene Eichman Biediger, his daughter Nancy Lorenzen and her husband Steve, and grandson Dustin Zimmerman. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Biediger Christilles, and his nephews Ernest, Jerome, Dennis, and Warren Christilles.

His funeral will be at St. Pius X Catholic Church on 4, 2016 at 10 a.m. He will be buried with full military honors at the national cemetery on Fort Sam Houston at 11:30 that same day.

He attended Southwest Missouri State University on a track Scholarship. He spent the next 30 years in the Air Force. He was a paratrooper during World War II and went on to become one of very few Air Force General Officers who was not a pilot. It was a source of great pride to him that all 4 of his sons graduated from the Air Force Academy. the Air Force, Herb went into the Real Estate business in Dallas and Kerrville. He was also known to give golf lessons on the driving range at The Hills to people who didn even realize he was their instructor. Obituary: Cecil T. Jenkins, Brig Gen, USAF (Ret.) passed away peacefully , 31, 2013 at his home in San Antonio at the age of 92. Cecil was born in Lott, Texas 2, 1921. graduating from Chilton High School in 1940, he attended Southwest Texas State . his service during WW II, he returned to complete his education in 1948. Cecil entered active military service in 1942 as an aviation cadet in the Army Air Corps. graduating from pilot training at Foster Field, Texas; he completed fighter pilot training at Ft. Sumner, NH, as well as Greenville and Galveston, TX, flying P-40 and P-47aircraft. Assigned to the 50th Air Force in 1945, he served in New Guinea, the Philippines and Okinawa with the 69th Fighter Squadron, flying the P-47 Thunderbolt. the war, he served with the occupation forces in Japan. Released from active duty in 1946, he remained in the Air Force Reserve until recalled to active duty in 1951, during the Korean conflict serving as a ferry pilot and flight commander with the 1738th Ferry Squadron, Long Beach, California ferrying aircraft worldwide including Europe, Alaska, Hawaii and Central and South America. Following the Pueblo Incident, then Col. Jenkins was activated in Jan. 1968 for over 16 months as Deputy Cdr., for Operations, 921st Military Airlift Group. In of 1968, still on active duty, Col. Jenkins was selected to fill the position of Director of Operations & Training, 433d Military Airlift Wing (Alamo Wing), and assumed those duties on 2, 1969, at Kelly AFB, Texas. He assumed command of the 937th Military Airlift Group at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma in 1970. On 20, 1971 he was named to command the 94th Military Airlift Wing at L.G. Hanscom Field, Bedford, Mass. In of 1972 he transferred to Dobbins AFB, GA., as wing commander. In of 1975, General Jenkins became acting commander of the Eastern Air Force Reserve Region at Dobbins AFB. Cecil was awarded the First Oak Leaf Cluster to the AF Commendation Medal in Jan. 1972 for Outstanding Service as commander, 937th Military Airlift Group, Tinker AFB, OK. In May 1972 at the Pentagon, he accepted the Dept. of Defense Annual Community Relations/Domestic Action Program Award for Outstanding Contribution to Community support and Domestic Action, 1971. In of 1976 he was assigned to the Alamo Wing where he served as wing commander to the 433rd Tactical Airlift Wing. He retired in 1978, completing a 35-year military career. The general was decorated with the Air Force Legion of Merit. He was a proud member of the Order of Daedalians for many years. Two memorable events during his tenure with the Alamo Wing were sending aerial firefighters to California in of 1977 and flights to snowbound northeastern cities in 1978. He was married for almost 60 years to Army Nurse, Eleanor Barbato, whom he met in the South Pacific in 1946. retiring from the military, he and his son, Thomas, started Jenkins and Associates, a builder of fine custom homes. Cecil was a faithful member of Bethany Congregational Church. Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Barbato, his parents Claud and Abbie Jenkins, and his sister Claudine Jenkins. He is survived by son Thomas L. Jenkins and (Lynn); daughters, Patricia Jenkins and Kathleen (Ken) Null; grandsons, Cameron Kurth, Brian Kurth and (Cori) and great granddaughter Olivia Kurth, and step-grandson, Kenneth L. Null, Jr. (Julia). As well as, one brother, Marshal Jenkins (Winnie); three sisters Juanita Mortimer, Janice Lane, Betty Jo Nix (John) as well as friends, nieces, and nephews, all dearly loved.

The family wishes to thank his loving and dedicated caregivers, especially Olga Flores as well as Allyssa Gallegos, Jose Martinez, and Magda Lopez. The family also wishes to thank Odyssey Hospice who cared for him the last few months. There will be a visitation on , 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary 1101 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, Texas.
