Obituary: Romeo H. Goto was born on May 19, 1951 in Poblacion Binangonan, Rizal in the Phillipines, and passed away in Daly City, California on 9, 2014. Along with his parents Ruben, Socorro, and 5 siblings, they moved to the United States in 1971, and he was a US Resident ever since. Romeo served in the US Navy in the 1970s and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was stationed in many Cities & Countries around the world, including Japan, Hawaii, Long Beach, and Korea. His love for music and interest in radio mechanics also led him to attend Far Eastern University in the Philippines, where he studied Engineering. In addition to his passion for music, he had many hobbies and interests. He was an avid coin collector, enjoyed movies, and a big pet lover. He was always happiest when surrounded by the many family dogs and his 3 parakeets. Romeo was also a big world traveler. Along with seeing many places during his time serving in the Military, he went on many vacations visiting various cities in the US and the world. Hes been to Holy Land, Lourdes, Italy, France, Denmark, London, Sweden, China and Russia, to name just a few. Romeo is survived by his loving mother Socorro; his siblings Roland (Elly), Leo (Juliet), & Roselle (Junior); his 8 nieces and nephews; a grand-niece and grand-nephew. |
