Obituary: GRACHEK, John Thomas, age 45 of Dayton, was taken from this life, Easter , 31, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. He was born May 20, 1967 to the late Edward Paul Grachek and Evelyn Marie (Shiets) Grachek of Fremont, OH. In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Richard Grachek and his nephew, Christopher Patrick. Along with his mother, survivors include his children, Beamer, Chelsea Grachek, Ashlee Grachek, Jonathan Grachek, Kayleen Grachek and Austin Grachek; his sisters, Donna (Don) Maas of Millbury, OH, Lucretia (John) Owens of Fremont, Maria (Randy) Patrick of Oak Harbor, OH, Cecilia (Ron) Boucher of Fremont and Christina (Paul) Shoemaker of Fremont; his wife of 13 years, Sylvia (Schauffler) Grachek of Carlisle; his girlfriend, Nicole Price of Riverside and her children, Aaron, Tyler and McKenzie as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends. John attended Ross High School in Fremont and went on to work 23 years as a self-employed plumber. He was Catholic by faith and enjoyed lots of outdoor activities including jet skiing, fishing, riding motorcycles and NASCAR. Services are private at the convenience of the family as his wishes for cremation were honored. Obituary: Evelyn Marie Grachek, 88, of Fremont, died , 12, 2013 at Bethesda . She was born 26, 1925 in Fremont the daughter of Joseph and Loretta (Giebel) Shiets. She married Edward Paul Grachek on 30, 1944 in Fremont. Evelyn was a member of St. Joseph Church, Fremont American Legion Auxillary, Catholic Family Movement, and volunteered her time at the Food Pantry. She was a very patriotic lady who had strong political convictions, but also a warm, loving heart for her friends and family. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading,scrapbooking, and playing bingo. She is survived by her children, Donna (Don) Maas of Millbury, OH, Lucretia (John) Owens of Fremont, Maria (Randy) Patrick of Oak Harbor, Cecilia (Ron) Boucher of Fremont, Christina (Paul) Shoemaker of Fremont; brothers, Donald (Louise) Shiets of Oak Harbor, Eldon and Ed Shiets, both of Fremont; twenty-one grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Tom and John Grachek; grandchild, Christopher Patrick; siblings, Gerald Shiets, Helen Ohms, Norbert Shiets, Paul Shiets, Rosie Baumer. Visitation will be , 16, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch St, Fremont, with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:30PM. Obituary: Troy D. Grace, 51, of Newark, Ohio, passed away at The Ohio State University James Cancer on , 22, 2015. Troy was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on 23, 1964, the son of Dean M. Grace and Cheryl (Corder) Hempel, both of Newark, Ohio. He graduated from Newark High School, and then attended The Ohio State University, and Columbus State University. Troy was Support Services Manager for Labcorp in Dublin, Ohio, for 28years. He was a very giving person who volunteered for many groups and organizations in the Licking area. Troy is also survived by his sister: Tresha Winston of Newark, Ohio, his nephew: Jhet Winston of Newark, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother: Ty Grace.
