Obituary: Kathleen Katy Bathke Gotchy, 63, passed away , 2, 2016 in Ogden, Utah, due to complications from her two year struggle with cancer. Kathleen was born in Sheboygan, WI and graduated from North High School in 1971. She married David Gotchy on 2, 1971 and raised three sons, Todd, Scott and Justin. She lived in eight states and three countries where she absorbed and celebrated local cultures and languages. Katys life was dedicated to her family as a homemaker, establishing a loving home for her sons and their friends. She was a Packer fan and a soccer mom spending countless hours cheering from the sidelines for her sons and grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Gotchy of Hickory; sons, Todd Gotchy of Saegartown, PA, Scott Gotchy of Simpsonville, SC, and Justin Gotchy of Creedmoor, NC; grandchildren, Jade, Graci, Connor and Haiden Gotchy and Luke McGill; sisters, Maureen Griessmeyer of Sheboygan, WI and Mary Lee Finger of Thiensville, WI. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on , 9, 2016 in the Chapel of Drum in Hickory. Father Ed Sheridan will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. A Memorial Service will also be held in Sheboygan, WI at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the Gotchy family at www.drumfh-hickory.com. Obituary: Timmy Joe Gossett Loving Son, Brother and Uncle Waynesville-Gossett, Timothy Joe, 51, passed away after a brief illness on , 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddy Gossett, his grandmother, Genevieve Shepard and a brother-in-law, Dave Bulko, his Uncle Travis Greene and his beloved fur baby Daisy. Tim is survived by his mother, Dorothy Greene Kirkpatrick of Waynesville, his brother, Troy Dale (Julie) Gossett of SC, two sisters, Tammy (Randy) Remlinger and Vickie Bulko both of Waynesville and several nieces and nephews. Tim was a self-employed carpenter for over thirty years who had a big heart and always fought for the underdog. Some of his favorite time, was sitting by the creek, listening and watching all the little critters and creatures. He enjoyed camping and loved mountain clogging and dancing. Tims favorite scripture was Isaiah 41:10 Don be afraid… Services will be held 7 pm , 17, 2015 at Smoky Mountain Cremations and Service Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5 p.m. until 7 pm.
