Obituary: Hector Tolin J. Gomez, 75, passed away on 9, 2017, in Springfield, MO. He is survived by his Loving Wife Lois C. Gomez of 52 yrs. Hector was born on the family ranch- in Rio Escondido, Mexico, on 24, 1942. When he was about 12 years old, in 1954, his family moved to the US to make a better life. He worked really hard picking crops in the northern United States, and while in Illinois he decided, that he wanted to get out of the fields and started working as a press operator at a factory job and helped the rest of his family get out of the fields. On May 2nd 1964 he married The Love of His Life, Lois Gomez. He was in a band called Los Dukes during the years 1960-1970. He loved to play music and sing. Hector was called to serve God, so he moved his family to Stockton, CA in 1976, to attend Bible . Where he was very active with the church and even had a school bus route, among anything else he could do, to help at the church. Later, so he could be closer to his mother and father, he moved his family to Texas in 1983, where he eventually settled in New Braunfels and worked at Coleman Co. as a Master Machinist, until he retired. He was smart, funny, strong and loving. He also, loved to work on cars, when he was younger. He always strived to do better and provide for his family; they were never without. His greatest accomplishments in life are his children and grandchildren. Family and God, was at the upmost importance in his life. He will always be loved and missed by many. He is survived by his Loving Wife, Lois C. Gomez of 52 years; son, Noe T. Gomez and his wife Isis Gomez; son, Jason S. Gomez and wife Mindy Gomez; daughter, Jessica J. Gomez-Rubio; Son: Carlos I. Gomez; daughter-in-law, Yolanda Gomez; brothers, Ramiro Gomez, Richard Gomez and Robert Gomez; sisters, Dora Lopez, Gloria Bustos, Martha Guia and Rose Velazquez; grandchildren, Allison Gomez, Lauren Johnson, Baylee Gomez, Dawson Johnson, Izabell Gomez, Daniel Gomez, Alexandra Gomez, Emily Gomez, Jayla Gomez and Lucas Rubio. He was preceded by his parents, Sabino and Maria Gomez; brother, Isaias Gomez; sister, Elena Velasquez; and son, Ray Gomez. Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM at Zoeller and will continue until 9:00 PM. Services will be held 10:00 AM , 18, 2017 at Zoeller with burial to follow in Comal . |
