Obituary: On 12, 2016, Captain Jeris L. Faircloth, a red, white and blue United States Marine, that strongly believed in God, country, Corps and family, received and executed his final set of orders.Born to the late Elbert E. and Catherine (Williamson) Faircloth in Bay Minette, Alabama on 21, 1939, he moved to the Myrtle Grove community at the age of three. He resided there, attending local schools, graduating from Pensacola High School in 1957, with the help of a very gracious family - the late Joel S. and Sallie I. Adams, Sr. Immediately upon graduation, J.L. enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served a proud and honorable twenty-one and one half year career. While in the Corps, he had numerous tours of duty in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam. retirement from the USMC in 1978, J.L. worked construction, then twenty years in the United States Postal Service.He leaves behind his loving and beloved wife of 48 years, Barbara Ann (Goldsby) Faircloth, daughter Janet L. and son-in-law John F. Campbell, son Jack L. and daughter-in-law Glenda Faircloth, three grandsons, Logan E. Campbell, Jacob E. Campbell, Zackery L. Faircloth, one granddaughter, Ashleigh Faircloth and sister, Murrel Johnson.A viewing will be held from 11am-12 noon on , 16, 2016 at the Eastern Gate Memorial , located at 1985 West Nine Mile Rd. Pensacola, FL, with a chapel service to begin at 12 noon. A funeral procession will depart Eastern Gate at 12:30 pm, proceeding to Barrancas National , where Captain J.L.
