Obituary: John Arthur Forslund Jr "Art" Born 16, 1931, died 21, 2010. Preceded in death by loving wife Karen Craven Forslund on 19, 1995 and sister Lois Jensen. Survived by son John A. Forslund lll "Jack", daughters Terresa Graham "Terri", Linda (Kerry) Archibald, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from Hercules Aerospace now Alliant. Enjoyed spending time with family and friends and working in the garden. He also enjoyed this time he spent at his cabin at Defas Dude Ranch. We could not have asked for a greater father, he was a caring man, willing to help anyone. Obituary: Curtis Brent Forsgren Curtis Brent Forsgren, 75, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away from an unexpected heart attack, , 14, 2010, surrounded by most of his loving family. Curt was born May 1, 1935, in Redondo Beach, CA to Denzil Layton and Viroqua Nelson Forsgren. He grew up in Ogden, Utah, graduated from Weber State in 1955, served in the Northern States LDS Mission 1955-1957, then graduated from Brigham Young University in 1961 with a degree in accounting. His career was in accounting management. Curt married Norine Nowell on 12, 1963, in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. He loved serving in the Church as Seventies group leader, ward executive secretary, gospel essentials teacher, employment specialist and many other callings. He was a very hard worker who did everything he could to provide for his family. He also loved serving in the community and was involved with the Kiwanis Club for years. He enjoyed singing and participated in many choirs throughout high school, college, and adulthood. He was an avid BYU fan and had season tickets for many years. He was a good dancer and he especially enjoyed Big Band music. He loved a good conversation and had an impeccable memory. He thoroughly enjoyed reading and staying up-to-date with politics and current events. He also loved classic movies and Westerns. And we hated always losing to him at Hearts, but loved his cheerful whistling. Curt is survived by his wife Norine and children: Melanie (Tom) Clay, Brent, Chris (Jenny), Courtney, Nathan (Katie), Paige (Bryce) Mackay and 15 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Beverly (Dee) Stevenson, Judy (Hossein) Ghandehari and his brother Dennis (Judy). He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joni Forsgren-White. services will be held on , 20, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Cascade 7th Ward Building located at 400 East and 400 North in Orem, Utah, with a viewing prior to the services from 9:45 to 10:45. Interment will be at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City. |

Obituary: Richard Lauren Forscutt, Sr. 81, of Orem, passed away 22, 2011 at his home in Orem, Utah. He was born 3, 1929 in Santa Monica, California, to Charles Zenus and Ella Jespersen Forscutt. He spent his early years and was educated in Santa Monica and graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1947. He attended UC Berkeley and graduated from Santa Monica Community . He was in the US Naval Reserve for 8 years. He was in aerospace engineering for Hughes, Honneywell and TRW Aircraft for 25 years and then was a Clinical Engineer at UCLA Medical until his retirement in 1992. He married Gloria Jean Erlene Johnson on 21, 1975 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. He had also lived in West Los Angeles, and after their marriage, lived in Torrance and Van Nuys, California prior to moving to Orem in 1994.He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served on the Stake High Council, in a ward bishopric, as a stake missionary and was in the High Priest group leadership. He was politically conservative and a great believer in the U.S. Constitution. He was a caring husband and loving father who loved camping in the Sierras and teaching his sons how to fish. He is survived by his wife Gloria of Orem, sons: Jay (Emily) Forscutt of Nephi, Ut.; Richard (Melinda) Forscutt, Jr. of Flower Mound, Texas, Christian (Elizabeth) Forscutt of Ringgold, Georgia,; 10 grandchildren; a brother Robert (Honora) Forscutt of Oakland, Calif. services will be , 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview LDS Stake , 400 W. 1800 S. in Orem; where friends may visit with the family from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Orem City .
