Obituary: Rosemary Freimuth, 89, of New Braunfels, died on , 7th at West Oaks in Austin, Texas. A Memorial Service for Rosemary will be held at Zoeller in New Braunfels at 11:00 AM on , 13th, with Deacon Fred Fey presiding. Visitation is 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home. Rosemary was born on 4th, 1925 in Yorktown, Texas, to Theodore and Bertha (Skloss) Pollok. Rosemary and her family soon moved to San Antonio, Texas, where she received her education at St. Gerards parochial school until her graduation. She married Robert (Bob) Freimuth in San Antonio on 2nd, 1948. She found employment opportunities in the secretarial field, working for various firms. In New Braunfels, this included American National Insurance, and the law offices of Cornelius, Powell, Perkins, and Smithers. She also somehow found time to be a devoted wife and mother. Rosemary had many interests in her lifetime. She enjoyed volunteering her services at McKenna Memorial Hospital, and assisting with driving cancer patients to their appointments in San Antonio. She was an avid sports fan, and looked forward to watching games on television, as well as attending live sporting events. Music was a love hers as well, with Willie Nelson being her favorite performer. her retirement, she took several trips overseas. Perhaps none of her travels gave her more joy than the pilgrimages she made to the Holy Land and the Vatican. Rosemary is survived by her son Ted and daughter-in-law Jan. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents Theodore and Bertha, her sister Cecilia (McCormick), and brother Sonny. Obituary: Robert (Bob) Freimuth, 91, of New Braunfels, died on , 19th at West Oaks in Austin, Texas. A memorial service for Bob will be held at Zoeller in New Braunfels at 11:00 am on , 25th, with Deacon Ben Wehman presiding. Visitation is 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home. Bob was born on 1st, 1922 in South San Antonio, Texas to Rudy and Kuma (Moallankamp) Freimuth. Bob's father was a salesman for a number of car dealerships scattered across the USA, thus Bob was raised in various areas of the country. Places as diverse as New Orleans, Detroit, and Paris, Texas were all home to him at one time or another. He married Rosemary Pollok in San Antonio on 2nd, 1948. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a proud recipient of the Purple Heart. Once the war was over, Bob pursued a career in radio broadcasting, and found success in the news departments at stations in Victoria, Houston, San Antonio, and finally KGNB-KNBT in New Braunfels, where he would work until he retired. Bob was a member of several civic organizations, including the Optimist Club and the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, Dad enjoyed building model airplanes, listening to Big Band music, (with the occasional Johnny Cash thrown in), and spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his wife, Rosemary; son Ted; and daughter-in-law Jan. He was preceded in death by his parents Rudy and Kuma; and his sister Virginia. Obituary: Jon Michael Freiger passed away on , 23, 2011 in San Antonio. He was 33 years old. Jon graduated from James Madison High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westminster in Missouri, and Master of Arts degree in School Psychology from Trinity University. He was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity (Delta Omicron chapter). Jon was employed by San Antonios Northside Independent School District, and prior to that, Ft. Sam Houston Independent School District. He was an active member of MacArthur Park Lutheran Church and worked with their youth group. Jon loved music, movies, sports, and rock concerts. He lived life to the fullest, never met a stranger and touched the lives of many. He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Freiger; daughter, Jocelyn Freiger; mother, Margie Jones; step-father, Robert Jones; father, David Freiger; step-mother, Beverly Freiger, step-sisters Crystal Turnbow and Shaina L. Obituary: Dorothy Jean Tyler Freier, RN was born 14, 1928 in Mitchell, South Dakota. She completed nursing school in Mitchell, South Dakota, and married Melvin Robert Freier on 3, 1950. The couple lived the farm life in Tripp, South Dakota, and moved to Artesia, NM in 1960. In Artesia she enjoyed her nursing career at Artesia General Hospital, the offices Dr. Henry Wall, Public Services, and then School Nurse for Artesia High School, Park Junior High and Zia Intermediate School where she touched many lives. She retired from the schools in 1990, moved to Las Cruces to be close to her young granddaughters in 1991 and then to Lubbock, Texas where she lived until 2016. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, playing bridge with her friends, sewing, the orchestra and playing with her granddaughters. She was famous in Artesia for her apple and sauerkraut strudels. When still able to sew she started a usiness whereby she rescued and revived Beanie Babies. She was an avid cello player and performed in the Roswell Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of Lakeridge Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church in Lubbock, and First United Methodist Church in Artesia, NM. Dorothys family and friends know that she was never to have uttered a bad word or even an angry word. She will always be remembered as a kind, gentle, patient soul. As a nurse, and in her personal life, she lived the life of service. She was always more concerned about other peoples health, well being, and emotions than she was about her own. She was preceded in death by husband, Melvin, sisters Georgia, Marty and brother Ray. She is survived by daughter Patricia Freier and son Kent Freier, two grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
