Obituary: Barbara Freeto, age 86, passed away 13, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born 24, 1927, in Laconia, New Hampshire to Clarence and Eva Papps. She was known for her out-spoken, but loving ways and her pride in her family. She was active in the United Methodist Church all her life and was especially proud that both of her children were United Methodist pastors, though she would take little responsibility for that fact. She was a loving and beloved wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Dwayne Freeto, a tragedy she grieved the rest of her life. Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Neale; daughter, Sharon Freeto and Bill Irwin; son, Carl Freeto and wife Linda; grandchild: Charles Freeto; step-grandchildren, Amy Ball and Emily Irwin; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Bruce Papps; and sister, Dorothy LaBonté. Obituary: Patricia Ann Boggs Freese passed away peacefully on 22, 2011. She was born on 26, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana where she grew up as an only child. She graduated from Byrd High School and completed a Secretarial Science program at Louisiana Tech. She moved to Houston in 1961 where she lived the rest of her life. Known as Patsy, she had a contagious laugh and caring spirit. She loved gardening and was an accomplished seamstress. But more importantly she was a great example of how to be a loving wife, mother and daughter. Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, John T. Freese, her daughters Joan Vanderbilt of Jacksonville, Florida and Carol Spencer of Gilmer, Texas, five grandchildren, and several cousins. The family will gather for a private graveside service at Memorial Oaks in Houston on 24. wards, a memorial service is to be held at 4pm on 24 at Bear Creek United Methodist Church, 16000 Rippling Water Dr., Houston, Texas 77084. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association at www.alz.org. |
