Obituary: Anna Lisa Ann Fletcher A celebration of life for Anna Lisa Ann Fletcher will be held at 11:00 AM, , 22, 2016 at Stonebriar in Frisco, TX. Internment will be in Lubbock, TX at 10:00 AM, , 24, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven . On , 16, 2016, Anna Lisa Ann (Morck) Fletcher, 91, passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born 19, 1925 in Gothenberg, Sweden to Gustaf Enoch and Elsa (Gunnarson) Morck. As the second oldest of five children, she came to America when she was four through Ellis Island, NY, and she grew up in Brooklyn. Upon developing TB in her late teens, she was hospitalized in Denver, Colorado. There she met her life love, L.D. Pud Fletcher. were married 23, 1946 in Dublin, TX and later moved to Lubbock, TX in 1948. Her Swedish heritage was beautifully woven throughout her familys life in Christmas traditions of worship, of delicious foods, wonderful songs, and loving sayings. Her strong desire for close ties resonated with love and concern for her family and friends, and her humor always left its lasting memory. She loved dancing, reading to children, playing games, and all types of craft projects. Ann was preceded in death by all her siblings, by her loving husband and all of his siblings. There left to cherish her memory are her daughter Carol Ann White and her husband, Johnny D of Bonham, TX and her daughter Lisa Diane Fletcher of Frisco, TX. Seven grandchildren; Rebecca Michelle John of Austin, TX, Stacy Lynn Williams of Nashville, TN, Jennifer Lee Vanlandingham of The Colony, TX, Michael Jeffrey Pierce and his wife, Michelle, of Prosper, TX, Eric Wayne Vanlandingham of Ft. Worth, TX, Jennifer Leigh Koonce and her husband Chris of Aubrey, TX, and Ashley Marie Jeffery of Lantana, TX; four great grandchildren, Aidan Jeffrey Pierce of Prosper, TX, Ann Thiele Koonce and Hunter Heritage Koonce of Aubrey, TX, and Colton Ray Jeffrey of Lantana, TX. Also, she leaves behind numerous friends, nephews and nieces from the Fletcher and Morck families. We all will miss our beloved Mom, Momma, Nonny, and G-Nonny. Hollis and Marijane Adams and husband Fred Fletcher Sr. Adrian was active in many organizations including girl scouts, Womans transportation Club Sojurners, printing industries of America and Republican Womans Club. She and Fred owned House of Print and Copy. Adrian is a graduate of Alamo Heights High School class of 1958. Obituary: James Lee Fleshood, 63, of Winnetka, CA, passed away on 20 2012 after a brief, but valiant, battle with cancer.Born in Wabash, Indiana on 6 1948, Jim was the third of William and Patricia Fleshood?s 9 children: Diane Butzow, Michael Fleshood, Larry Fleshood, Susan Brewer, Judith Cargal, Nancy James, Sally Bowman and Beth King. Jim enlisted in the US Army in 1965. A graduate of the Army?s leadership school and Drill Instructor Academy, he served two tours in Vietnam (1966-1967) with the 11th Armored Cavalry and saw heavy fighting during Operations Atlanta and Junction City. Jim served as a tunnel rat, sniper and APC driver and was awarded two Purple Hearts, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, the Combat Infantry Badge, and numerous unit citations. He was honourably discharged as a Sergeant in 1968 from his final duty station of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He is a life member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the 11th Armored Cavalry Veterans of Vietnam and Cambodia, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. the army, Jim moved to Las Vegas to become a professional actor and to work in radio, television and films. He ultimately launched a forty-year career in the security industry. From 1970 -1982, Jim worked for the Las Vegas Hilton, providing first-hand security and executive protection to a multitude of entertainers such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ann Margaret, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Liberace and Bill Cosby, who became a lifelong personal friend and professional colleague. In 1982, he opened his own security company, Specialized Security Services, Inc. The successful company was later acquired by CPP/Pinkerton, Inc. Jim became a \Pinkerton\? and worked for them in Las Vegas, Chicago and Los Angeles through 2000, winning numerous awards including Regional Vice President of the Year, Most Improved Region of the Year, and the prestigious Thomas W. Wathen International Award for Excellence. his time at Pinkerton, Jim also worked for Command Security in Lagrangeville, NY and WSA Security, Inc. in Los Angeles. Over the course of his life, Jim enjoyed golfing, skiing, deep-sea fishing, NASCAR and driving his Corvette, \Sophia.\? His love of golf began as child under his father?s instruction and allowed him to develop friendships with many interesting people \ from generals far senior to him on Army golf courses to good friends on LA-area courses like Tierra Rejada and Camarillo Springs. He finally achieved that elusive hole-in-one on 10, 2009. Despite his service-related disabilities, Jim played regularly up until his cancer diagnosis on 28, 2011.But Jim?s greatest joy came from his family. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary; stepchildren Marie Elena Oley (Eamonn) and David Robert Polakoski; grandson Ciaran Edward Oley; sister Diane Butzow (Richard); nephew Matthew Butzow and niece Wendey Butzow. While Jim lived a colorful and adventurous life outside of the home, nothing ever topped the happiness of being close with the family he loved. Obituary: Charles Cecil Flesher of San Antonio died , 16 at Regent . Born on 19, 1914 in Prairie Grove, Ark., Charles was the son of Charles C. Flesher and Winifred Dorman Flesher. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1929 and earned both bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Texas. Charles taught high school history before enlisting in the U.S. Army during World War II. He served with the Army of Occupation in Japan and remained in the Army Reserves, achieving the rank of lieutenant clolonel before he retired in 1974. During a long career in life insurance management, Charles held executive positions in companies based in Chiacgo, Kansas City, and Ft. Collins, Colo., and was a member of the Life Officers Management Association. He was a long time member of American MENSA and servied as treasurer of the San Antonio chapter. He was also a meember of the Flesher, Margaret US-Wilton Texas Ex-Students Association, the Retired Officers Association and the Reserve Officers Association Flesher, Margaret US-Wilton He worshipped at Covenant Presbyterian Church in San Antonio.
