Obituary: Corporal Matt Finley, 32, of Spring passed away May 4, 2010, at his home. He was born 11, 1977, in Houston. Matt is survived by his mother, Margie Trimble; father, David Finley; grandmother, Simone Finley; sister, Mendy Schneider and her husband, T.J.; niece, Tayten Schneider; nephew, Jaikin Schneider; uncles, Larry and Glen Finley; and aunt, Sarah Ellis. Matt graduated from Nimitz High School and was employed with the Harris Constables Office, Precinct 4. Law enforcement was Matts passion. He loved the Houston Texans and spending time on the lake. His family and friends were very important to him, and he will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., , May 9, 2010, in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands . Obituary: Charles Emery Finley, age 89, loving husband, daddy and grandfather, passed away , 18, 2014. He was born May 31, 1924 in McGee, Arkansas to the late Dora Raye Finley. Charles proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion. In his youth, he was a bare back bronc rider and roper as well as River Patrol for the US government. He married the love of his life, Betty Jean Peroni, on 5, 1947 in the Rio Grande Valley. moved to Victoria in 1961 and raised their 9 gifts from Heaven with love and taught them respect and hardwork. He was a retired heavy duty diesel mechanic which left him time for gardening, loving his animals and fishing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Raye Finley, his wife of 57 years, Betty Jean Finley, his son John Finley, his daughter Nora Jean Stolz, his grandson Kenneth Wright II, his grandson Nicholas Verret, his sisters, Elsie Haynes and Lillie Warner; his brothers Wesley Finley and Teague Finley; and great great grandchildren, Serenity Norman and Faith Norman. Obituary: Bonnie Rae Graham, beloved wife of John Finley, was born May 2nd, 1931 in Ottumwa, Iowa and went to heaven on Good , 2nd, 2010. She married John M. Finley on May 3rd, 1951 at Ridglea Presbyterian Church in Ft. Worth, Texas. their marriage John and Bonnie lived in Hillsboro, Texas for many years. In 1984 they moved to Austin, Texas. Bonnie is a member of Berkeley United Methodist Church in Austin, Texas. She is survived by her husband, John M. Finley; and four children and their spouses, Nancy Page and Olen Wardlaw, Teresa Louise and Gary Whiteley, Wm. Neil and Tanna Finley, and Laura Roxanne and Davey Helton. have twelve grandchildren, Christopher Wardlaw, Jeffery Wardlaw, Mrs. Rebecca Morales, John Cloud, David Cloud, Nikki Cloud, Mrs. Kathryn Hoelscher, Lauren Finley, Mallory Finley, Nathaniel Finley, Mrs. Megan Thomas, Heather Helton; and three great-grandchildren, Tanner Wardlaw, Deacon Hoelscher, and Wyatt Wardlaw. Throughout her life, Bonnie was greatly loved by all who knew her. She was an accomplished artist and taught painting in the Paint Box, her private school for many years in Hillsboro, Texas. Bonnie cared for everyone around her and will be greatly missed by all. She enriched the lives of her family, her friends and those who helped her in her final illness. Although Bonnie is no longer with us, our memories will sustain and warm us for the rest of our lives. We are confident that she is now in Jesus arms and God has her in his loving care. Services will be held on , 10, 2010 at the Berkeley United Methodist Church, 2407 Berkeley Avenue with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and the service following at 2:00 p.m. There will be a reception after the service at the church.
