Obituary: Finch, William Robert was born 24, 1954 in Victorville, CA and passed away 29, 2014 in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Neal Finch and Mary Elizabeth Finch; sister, Jan Ellen Ledenham and brother, Jim Neal Finch. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Ann Erhart and son-in-law, Matt Erhart of Dallas, TX; granddaughters, Emma Elizabeth Erhart and Julia Kathleen Erhart; son, Danny Steven Finch of Forney, TX; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Renee Hebert; granddaughters, Maygen Renee Mings and Kaylen Michelle Mings; grandson, Ryan Richard Finch; sisters, Karen Gail Longenecker, Beth Ann Finch and brother, Glenn Lee Finch. Bill was a fun loving person who enjoyed family and friends, when he was not working. He was a maverick in the retail industry spanning 3 decades and for a long time as a District Manager for Family Dollar. He received many awards for his many achievements such as highest customer satisfaction, highest growth, lowest turnover, lowest shrink, etc. Bill was known for his love of laughter and fun loving spirit. He enjoyed calling his sisters and making them laugh until they peed their pants. One of his many mottos was Its not how many times you get knocked down, its how many times you get up. He was exceptional at finding the positive in a situation and keeping things lite. The funeral will be held on at 11:00 a.m. at Sparkman at 1029 S. Greenville Ave. Richardson, TX. The viewing is from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be at Restland. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society. under the direction of Sparkman & Cremation Services, Richardson, TX. |

Obituary: Ronnie Dee Finch, 69 of Kemp, Texas went to be with the Lord, surrounded by family, on 22, 2015. Ronnie was born 6, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas to Edward and Valrie Finch. He graduated from Northside High School in Fort Worth in 1965. He attended Tarrant Junior and the University of Texas at Arlington, where he received a Journeyman Electrician’s License. Ronnie worked for General Service Administration for 34 years as a Project Manager. Ronnie was a life time member of the Cedar Creek Lake Mason Lodge #1431, where he served as Worshipful Master in 2001-2002. He was a member of the Sharon Shrine. He also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where he served as Worthy Patron. Ronnie was a member of the Texas Professional Photographer’s Association and the Southwestern Photographer’s Association, Inc. He received several awards for his photographs from the Affiliated Print Exhibit. Ronnie was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church in Tool, Texas. He served faithfully in several leadership positions, passionately working around the church facilities and in whatever capacity he was needed. Ronnie was preceded in death by both his parents and a daughter, Misty Lynn Finch. Survivors include his wife, Talonda Finch of Kemp; son, Brian Finch and wife Alyssa of Crowley; daughter, Cheryl Trapp and husband, Doug of Crowley; son, Randy Finch and wife, Christine of Fort Worth; daughter, Michelle Hines and husband, Gerald of Arlington, Texas; son, Kirk Sandlin of Kemp; brothers, Nathan Finch and wife, Mava, of Hurst and Donnie Finch and wife, Linda, of Euless; sisters, Cleta Kemp and husband, Billy, of Keller and Mirion Simmons and husband, Gene, of Azle; Uncle Douglas Finch and wife, Bonnie, of Weatherford, Texas; 16 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson. The family would like to thank the VNA Hospice for their loving care. |
