Obituary: Jack R. Foster, 83, of Oklahoma City left this earth peacefully on the morning of 25, 2011. He was born on 28, 1928 in Muskogee, OK to John Thomas and Lillian Redman Foster. His early years were spent in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kentucky. He attended Classen High School in Oklahoma City, Class of 1946. He attended the Universities of Oklahoma and Missouri, majoring in finance. He spent two years with Liberty Bank & Trust Co. of Oklahoma City prior to serving with the Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean Conflict. He then worked for two years as Assistant Credit Manager for Fred Jones Ford in Oklahoma City. In 1953 he joined Citizens National Bank and Trust Co. of Oklahoma City starting as a tellers assistant and rising to the position of president in 1976. He retired from Citizens National Bank in 1983. Later that same year he went to work for Ruidoso State Bank in New Mexico where he retired in 1989 as President and Chairman of the Board. He returned to Oklahoma City and worked at Guaranty Bank and Trust until retiring in 2000. During his career, he served on the boards of trustees for Oklahoma City University and the Oklahoma Methodist Foundation, Inc. In Ruidoso, NM, he was an advisory director of the Continental Telephone of the West and served as treasurer of the Rotary Club. He also held memberships in the Economics Club, Allied Arts and other civic originations in Oklahoma City and Ruidoso, NM. He met Elizabeth (Betty) Falletti in 1950 in Oklahoma City and they were married May 20, 1951. had two children, Jan in 1958 and John in 1960. would have celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary next month. were longtime members of Mayfair Heights United Methodist Church and St. Lukes United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Foster and Lillian Foster Kemble. He is survived by his wife Betty, of the home, daughter Jan Shore and husband Pat of Edmond, son John and his wife Diane of Oklahoma City, granddaughters Sarah and Erin Shore, sister Jan Foster Morrell of Houston, TX and stepfather Allan D. Kemble, Jr., of Waxahachie, TX and several nieces and nephews. His family was his life. The family will receive guests at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension on , 27 from 5 - 7 PM. A private burial will precede services in the chapel at St. Lukes United Methodist Church, 222 NW 15th Street in Oklahoma City at 2:00 PM on , 28th. The family would like to thank all the health care professionals that assisted Jack and the family during this difficult time. Obituary: Frances Heifner Foster died 3, 2011, in Oklahoma City, a week prior to her 88th birthday. She was born 11, l923 in Barnard, Mo., to Lloyd B. and Fern Heifner. Fran was preceded in death by her husband Dr. E.W. Foster, Jr., parents and brother, Lowell (Bud) Heifner, and her daughter, Candace Foster-Hasis. Shortly after graduating from Rubican Business School in St. Louis, Fran began working for the St. Louis Dept. On 31, 1948, she married E.W. Foster Jr., while he was attending Washington University Dental School in St. Louis. later moved to Oklahoma City to open Dr. Fosters dental practice. Fran worked there with him until starting their family. She was a longtime member of Crown Heights United Methodist Church. Fran is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Lori Thompson Foster, and grandsons, Zachary Foster, OKC, and Ryan Foster-Hasis, San Antonio, TX, and granddaughter and her husband, Elizabeth and Terry Hepner, OKC. Also surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Harden Cox, Rockport, Mo., and two nephews. The family wishes to thank City Hospice and Tuscany Village for their excellent care and devotion to their mother and grandmother. Services are 10am Fri., 8, 2011, at Guardian West .
