Obituary: Mr. Monroe Pearson Frye, 88, passed away , 27, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. Monroe was born in Forsyth on 15, 1926 a son to the late, John Wesley Frye and the late Minnie Watts Frye. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Frye and J.W. Frye, Jr.; a sister, Minnie Sis Templeton and a cousin, Chuck Myers, Jr. He was a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church and was a Navy veteran serving during WWII. Monroe was the chief repairman at RJ Reynolds Tobacco and retired after 40 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and working in the garden. Monroe also spent countless hours working and repairing old classic cars, especially his army jeeps. He was a jack of all trades and was known for being a truthful honest person and was a special neighbor to have as he always had a lending hand when needed. Monroe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Hazel D. Frye of the home; a son, Timothy Tim Monroe Frye of Lewisville; daughter, Melissa Lisa Ann Frye and husband, Richard Colwell of Lewisville; and granddaughter, Harmony Richia Frye-Colwell of Lewisville and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held 11 AM, , 30th at Shiloh Lutheran Church, 703 Lewisville-Vienna Road, Lewisville, with Vicar Brandon Heavner officiating. Committal will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends , 29th from 6 until 8 pm at Frank Vogler and Sons , Clemmons Chapel. Obituary: Mildred Susie Frye, age 98, passed away , 15, 2016 at Burke Hospice House in Valdese, NC. Born 23, 1918 in Catawba , she was the daughter of the late Daniel Kenneth Frye and Mamie Icard Frye. One of her favorite jobs was working the Cash and Carry at MDI in Hickory. Her favorite hobby was shopping. She is survived by her nephews Dan Frye of Taylorsville, NC and Rick Frye of Charlotte, NC; and extended family. Susie was loved dearly by her godchildren and church family. A Celebration of Susies Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., , 17, 2016 in the Chapel of Hickory , with Rev. Glenda Bramlet officiating. Entombment will be private at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory. The family will receive prior to the service from 11:45 to 12:45 at Hickory . |

Obituary: Mary Lois Breedlove Frye, 85, of Liberty died on , 11, 2015 at Randolph & Rehabilitation . She was retired from The Liberty Chair and after retirement began a childcare business in her home, where she devoted her time to the children in her care. She was a member of Pleasant Union Wesleyan Church where she served as a School Teacher for many years. A funeral service will be held on , 15 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Chapel officiated by Rev. Noah Albarez; burial will follow in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian. Mary Lois was the daughter of the late Vance Edward and Mary Maxine Deaton Breedlove and was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Frye and her only brother, Thomas Breedlove. Surviving are her two nieces, Jo Anna Windham and Belinda Breedlove, both of Liberty and two nephews, Ronnie Breedlove of Greensboro and Eddie Breedlove of Florida. Obituary: Louise Frye, 81, of Liberty passed away on , 4, 2015 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Climax where she was a member of the choir, the Adult Fellowship Class, the Friendly Club, the Arlene Stokes Circle, and served as a Trustee and a School Teacher and as an officer of the District United Methodist Women. A funeral service will be held on , 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Charles Hutchens officiating; burial will follow in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin in Liberty. Louise was the daughter of the late Howard Lee and Inez McKinney Frye and was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Frye. Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Oatha A. Frye of the home; sons, Edwin A. Frye of Pleasant Garden, Jeffrey L. Frye (Angela) of Haw River, and Marty B. Frye (Jeanna) of Liberty; sisters, Jane Chamelin of Climax, Ruby Burns of Greensboro and Judy Frye of Creedmoor; brother, Charles Frye (Dorothy) of Greensboro; grandchildren, Jeffrey Frye II (Nicole), Megan Jarman (Josh), Danielle Jones (A.J.), Candace Frye, Corinna Patrick (Eddie) and Bryson Frye; and great-granchildren, Kaitlyn, Braelyn, and Kinsley.
