Obituary: Revallie Louise Heaggans Freeman, 58, of 204 Jasmine Circle was the daughter of the late John Alexander and Evelyn Mills Heaggans. She was born in Iredell on May 27, 1957 and departed this life on , 4, 2015 following an extended illness. Revallie was preceded in death by her biological parents, John Louis Moten and Patsy Ann Keaton; and sister, Lori Ann Keaton. Revallie, affectionately called Ya Ya, Mimi, Nanna by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, attended Amity Elementary School, South Iredell High School and graduated from Mitchell Community . On 11, 1982 she married the love of her life, Calvin Curtis Freeman who survives. She began her career at Troutman Elementary School as a teacher assistant and bus driver. working many years in the education field, she opened her own day care; J.O.Y (Jesus, Others, Yourself) Family Daycare in Troutman, NC. Revallie later became the owner/ operator of Freemans Towing Inc. She showed Motherly Love to her students and any child who came upon her door step. She was an awesome woman of God and so very wise. She attended Cast the First Stone Ministry in Troutman, NC and was the Mother of the Church. She welcomed you with open arms and always left you with kind words of wisdom to lead you down the path of righteousness. She was always willing to help you and to lend a listening ear. She was loving and forgiving and accepted all for who they were. She had always said that when she leaves this earth and enters the kingdom of heaven if she leaves you anything, she leaves you the love of Jesus Christ and she meant that. With this beautiful union, Calvin and Revallie created their legacy; three daughters, Pastor Krista Cousar (Thomas Cousar), Ciji Freeman (Dominique Scott) and Janice Witherspoon; two sons Kevin KC Freeman (Tina Freeman), Mario Freeman (Kisha Bailey); thirteen grandchildren, Porsha Witherspoon, Tashonna Witherspoon, Jaylyn Bailey, Stefanie Rossi, Anesia Cherry, Anaya Cherry, Zaniya Parks, DeMario Parks, Amaree Freeman, Erikah Freeman, Lia Freeman, Alayna Freeman, Caivin Scott; two great grandchildren, Jordan Witherspoon and Kylie Marion-Witherspoon; and a special niece, Natajia Freeman. She also leaves to cherish her memories, step-mothers Melzetta Heaggans and Winifred Moten; twelve sisters, Terri Keaton, Karen Keaton, Tammy Keaton, Michelle Mathelier (Patrick), Monica Brown (Robert), Leslie Brown (Lee), Paulette Moten, Carmen Moten, Cynthia Moten, Tonjua Hall (Rodney), Lenora Reid, Ava Cornelius; special cousins Tammy Hall and Gwendal Morrison; special friends, Sylvia Stewart, Karen Stewart, Macy Hill and Alvis Rankin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. service celebrating Revallies life will be held at 1:00 PM , 10, 2015, at Monticello United Methodist Church with Pastor Eulonda Henton officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in Cleveland. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the church prior to the service and at other times will gather at the home of the daughter, Pastor Krista Cousar.
