Obituary: Charlie Denson Flynn, 85, passed away at Forsyth Memorial Hospital following eight months of declining health. Charlie was born in Yadkin , 29, 1931, a son of the late Hairson and Fannie Gill Flynn. He retired from Hooker Furniture. Charlie loved dancing at Carolina Dance Land, woodworking and gardening. He loved his family, grandchildren and his yard buddy, Tiger. Charlie was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Judith Flynn; three daughters, Rebecca Seibert, Kathy Taylor and Charlene Flowers; a son, Charles Flynn; a sister Betsy Flynn; a brother, John Flynn; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at 1 p.m. in the Davis s and Cremations Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Miller and Rev. Carl Taylor.
