Obituary: Roger L. Fischer, age 72 of Columbia, Missouri died on , 8, 2014, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Born , 22, 1941 in Corder, Missouri, he was the son of the late Arthur Louis Fischer and the late Frances Emma (Boehmer) Fischer. Also preceded in death are three brothers; Donald Fischer, Allen Fischer and an infant. Roger owned and operated Fischer Heating and Cooling retiring in 2003. He was a 1959 graduate of Alma High School. He moved to Raytown, Missouri in 1988 from Higginsville and then moved to Columbia in 2013. Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl (Russell) Poese of Katy, Texas; Susan (Jon) DeHaven of Higginsville; and Michelle (Derek) Fox of Columbia; one brother, Wayne (Lela) Fischer of San Diego, California; 7 grandchildren, Christina Poese, Nathan Poese, Jennifer (Zachary) Larimore, Jonathan DeHaven, Christopher DeHaven, Ryan Fox and Collin Fox. There will be a Memorial Graveside Service at 1:00 p.m. , 22, 2014 at Calvary , Corder, with Dr. Greg Fine officiating. Interment will follow. Obituary: FISCHER Robert George 93, of St. Louis, MO. Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, he passed away peacefully at his home on 17, 2015. He was the loving husband and best friend of the late Audrey (nee Fiebiger); beloved father of Robert (Sharon) Fischer Jr., Margaret (Daniel) Betts and Jeri (Kenny) Ort; loving grandpa and great grandpa; dear brother of the late Mildred Maddock and the late Lorraine Harp; he was a beloved uncle and friend. Robert was a man of great faith and prayer which he found great strength in after the death of his beloved and adored Audrey. For many years he worked for Maloney Electric and retired from Borg-Warner in Wright City. In his retirement he loved gardening; both flower gardening and vegetable gardening. He was a great story teller. Robert always had a smile on his face open arms for family, friends, neighbors and even strangers. He will be greatly missed, but with faith we trust he is in the arms of the Lord and his beloved Audrey . Services: A visitation will be held from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. on , 22, 2015 at Hoffmeister South Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay, MO 63125. A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m., on , 23, 2015 at St. Mark Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Resurrection . Obituary: Marcile G. Fischer, 83 of Corder, Missouri died on , 13, 2016, at the Lutheran in Concordia, Missouri. Born , 30, 1932 in Hodge, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Shockley and the late Elenora Franklin Shockley. She married Donald N. Fischer on 16, 1950 and he preceded her in death on 28, 2009. She lived most of her life in Corder, Mo. She was a member of Corder United Methodist Church and a member of the Lafayette Farm Bureau. Surviving are one daughter, Debbie (Chris) Good of Corder, MO; three brothers, Daniel Shockley of Orrick, MO, Charles (Adruth) Shockley of Orrick, MO and Lloyd (Paulette) Shockley of Missouri City, MO; five grandchildren, Justin (Amanda) Good, Christa (Scott) Bell, Steven Fischer, Kevin (Elizabeth) Fischer, and Don Fischer; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald N. Fischer, her son, Gary W. Fischer, and one brother, John Shockley. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on at the Corder United Methodist Church with Pastor Ralph Varner officiating, Delaney Upton as pianist. Interment will be in Calvary , Corder, MO. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM , at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Donald and Marcile Fischer Memorial Agriculture Scholarship Fund.
