Obituary: NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. Fernand J. Forgues passed away peacefully , May 13, in Florida, from complications related to a recent stroke. He was born 10, 1942, in Lewiston, and was the son of Albert and Marieanne Forgues. He was a successful business owner of Andys Barn Flooring for many years and was married for 54 years to his one and only love, Doreta (Beaule) Forgues of Sabattus. Together they have three children, Kayleen, Andrea (Dee) and Jayson and two grandchildren, Kaleb and Monroe Forgues who all still reside in Maine. He is also survived by two brothers, Ronald and Roland Forgues, and one sister, Jeannine Forgues-Setterlund, along with nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Marieanne, and his brother, Raymond Forgues. Fern was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus No. 106. He loved traveling, fishing, playing cards and cribbage, camping and snowmobiling, but most of all he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. Obituary: LEWISTON-Cecile T. Forgues, 94, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on , 11, at St. Marguerite dYouville Pavillion with her family by her side. Born in Canada on 14, 1920, the daughter of Josephat and Bernadette (Boisvert) Tancrede, she attended local schools. Cecile was a lifelong resident of Lewiston, where she met and married the love of her life, Lucien Forgues, on Feb. 9, 1946, and together they raised their family. She worked at the Bates Mill and local shoe shops retiring in 1983 at the age of 62. She loved going to Sams with her friends (peeps), enjoyed playing Bingo and loved going to Old Orchard Beach for pizza and fries. One of the most important things that she enjoyed doing was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her three sons Henry Forgues of Lewiston, Raymond and his wife, Terry Forgues, of Lewiston, and David and his wife, Lisa Forgues, of Auburn; a sister, Laurette Audibert of Lewiston; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband; a daughter-in-law, Sue Forgues; two brothers, Roland and Arthur; and a sister, Fernande. Obituary: Jayetta Fordham, 69 North Yarmouth - Jayetta W. (Halleman) Fordham, 69, of North Yarmouth, ME, passed away on , 24, 2014, at her home following a period of declining health. She was born on 18, 1944 in Bethlehem, PA, the daughter of the late Charles and Wanda (Eisbrenner) Halleman. She graduated from Liberty High School and then graduated cum laude from Muhlenburg in 1966. She was a resident of Maine for 47 years, formerly living in Bethlehem, PA. She married the love of her life, Wayne Fordham on 24, 1967. She worked for a number of years as a social worker and vocational rehabilitation consultant. She enjoyed horse riding, reading about and studying Native American history and helping others. She is survived by her husband and three children, Rose Michaud of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kim Maestas of Cumberland, ME, and Ryan Fordham of Leominster, MA; six grandchildren, Bethany, Sam, Zach, Ben, Chloe and Mason; two great grandchildren, Lily and Sophie; one brother, Jeffrey Halleman and his wife Nancy; as well as many nieces and nephews. Obituary: North Yarmouth - Florence Emily Robinson Fordham, passed peacefully at the Gosnell Hospice in Scarborough on 8, 2016, at age 92. She was the second of two daughters, born in Rumford on 11, 1924, to Carroll and Emily (Sawyer) Robinson of Peru. Growing up in a small rural Maine town, she developed a strong work ethic, the value of family ties, and a profound love of animals. attending elementary school in Peru, she and her sister went to Leavitt Institute in Turner, where they both graduated in 1942. While her sister had an honor speaking part, Florence was known for her prowess on the basketball court and softball field. Two months after graduation, Flo got a call from Ken saying that he was granted a three-day liberty, and for her to come to Washington, D.C., so they could get married. On Aug. 1, 1942, Flo, her sister, and a cousin of theirs took the train to Elkton, Md., to meet up with her handsome Georgia-born sailor, Kenneth Fordham, to get married. Their marriage was quite the adventure, and they lived in many different places because of Ken's Navy career, including two years in Stockholm, Sweden. Flo was always ready to get to the next place, but always anxious to get back to Maine. Upon Ken's retirement from the U.S. Navy, they settled in North Yarmouth, and remained there ever since. Having brought a boxer dog back from Sweden with them, they started raising these pure-breds and joined the American Kennel Club where they showed the dogs for many years. Her zany sense of humor and her unusual thumb whistle were legendary at dog shows, at Maine Mariner hockey games and everywhere else she happened to be. When the traveling got to be more than they wanted to deal with, they switched gears and converted the breeding kennel into a boarding kennel with the name Car-Way Kennels, named for their two children, Carolyn and Wayne. Her pride and joy, besides her family, was her 1960 MGB convertible sports car, which she named Miss B. She was often seen buzzing about town in it. Flo worked for many years at Sears & Roebuck in Portland, then at Canal National Bank in Portland. She retired when she and Ken started the boarding kennel. Family was her top priority, and was very proud to be blessed with them all, and to be able to live to see great-grandchildren. Flo was predeceased by an infant daughter, Diana; her sister, Carolyn; her parents; a grandson, David; her husband; and her daughter-in-law, Jaye. She is survived by her son, Wayne, her daughter, Carolyn Small, son-in-law, George, grandchildren Alan, his wife Laura, their children, Jordan, Elisha, and Darla; Laura Maestas, her husband, Jim, and their daughter, Caroline; Daniel, his wife Tricia, and their children, Emily and Jackson, Kimberly Maestas, her husband, Arnie and their boys, Zachary and Benjamin, and Ryan and his children, Chloe and Mason; granddaughter, Rose Michaud, her husband Roger, their children Bethany, and Sam; and great-granddaughters, Liliana and Sophie. are being made by Lindquist , 1 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth. At her very adamant request, there will be no visiting hours. A brief graveside service will be held on 26, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Walnut Hill in North Yarmouth. There will be a gathering afterwards at Wayne's house in North Yarmouth. Florence was a fiercely devoted family person and animal lover. Obituary: Yvonne Gray Ford, 95 Yvonne Gray Ford, 95 died peacefully in her sleep at home following a brief illness. Yvonne grew up in the small town of Groveton, NH, and during WW II married the love of her life, Fred Rodney Ford, of Guildhall, Vt. during his tour of duty in the US Navy. spent 62 wonderful years together raising four children and enjoying a lifetime of experiences and explorations. She was a loving mother who always put her family first, and throughout the years taught them values of life, love of family and friends, and respect for all. The family lived in Virginia, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, finally settling in Brewer, Me in 1961. She was a volunteer at a school for the disabled children, designed dance costumes, was a Brownie Scout and Cub Scout den leader, volunteered in the schools, and never missed the athletic events of her children, always cheering them on. She sang in the choir of the United Methodist Church. Family winter vacations at Saddleback, ME were highlighted by the breaking and eating of her skillfully designed gingerbread houses, skiing and much laughter. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, ME were among her favorite places to camp, hike, picnic, and enjoy the beauty of nature. She and her husband traveled extensively both internationally and nationally, exposing their children to many wonders of this country. Most of all she enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at Cape Cod, MA; Sebec Lake, ME; on Top of the Hill in Raymond, ME, as well as exploring the southern country of Louisiana and Texas. Other highlights of her retirement years were spending winters in Gulf Shores, AL where she and her husband made many long-lasting friendships and celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in Australia and New Zealand where at 74 she snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef. In later years Yvonne lived at Ocean View in Falmouth, Maine where she participated in many of the activities of this senior living community and continued to make friendships. She enriched all our lives with the stories of days gone by and her lasting love, a gift to all her family. Beloved wife of the late Fred R. Ford of Brewer, ME, Yvonne was the devoted mother of Janis Swain and her husband, the late Douglas Swain of Medfield, MA; Darlene McCall and her husband John McCall of Raymond ME and their family, Sarah, Loren, Leo and Lex Selvaggio of Carlsbad California; her son Rodney Ford and his wife Rev. Janice Ford of Uxbridge, MA; and her son Randall Ford and wife Judy Ford of Falmouth, ME. Yvonne delighted in her grandchildren the late Ashleigh Yvonne Tennet and Rory Tennet; Darren Swain and his wife, Kelly Swain of Scituate, MA and Darcy Walsh and husband Brian Walsh of Vienna, VA; Eric Ford and his wife Jennifer of Arlington, MA; Nicholas Ford of Brighton, MA; Jameson Ford of Bangor, ME; and Christian Ford of Falmouth, ME. Yvonne was also the beloved great-grandmother of Trevor Swain and Cyrus Walsh.
