Obituary: Laura Frances Dearman Fleming Delhi services for Mrs. Laura Frances Dearman Fleming 85 of Delhi, LA will be held at 10 AM , 22, 2015 in the chapel of Cox in Delhi. Visitation will be held at Cox on from 5-7 PM. Burial will be in the Newton under the direction of Cox of Delhi. Ms. Laura was deeply devoted to her family and loved her hobbies, reading, gardening, tending to her flowers and cooking. She was an expert seamstress for the public. Mrs. Fleming served as a bank teller for many years at Capital Bank in Delhi and was office manager for the Delhi Jitney Jungle Store and in later years she enjoyed volunteering with the Council On Aging. Laura always had a fresh jar of cookies-baked daily- and distributed them among the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She could get lost in a book and read for hours and was a thyroid and ovarian cancer survivor. Preceding her in death are her parents Lester Arnold Dearman and Emma Velma Upton Dearman, a sister Geraldine Dearman Newton, a brother Richard Dearman; her husband Clayton C. Fallin; a daughter-in-law Cindy Eldridge Fallin and a grandson Jason Williams. She is survived by three children Melba Sue Williams (Woodie), Jesse Clayton Fallin (Susie) and David Ray Fallin (Jill) all of Delhi, LA; five grandchildren Amy W. Williams (Roger), Brandy Lea W. Parker, B. J. Fallin (Cari), Dusty Fallin (Courtney) and Kirsten A. Thames; nine great grandchildren Sierra & Ashton Carson, BayLea Huffman, Avery Parker, Talmadge Parker IV, Caden Ray Fallin, Raylee Beth Fallin, Brantley Bass and Clayton Edward Fallin; a brother James Earl Dearman (Brenda) of Huntsville, AL and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Hope Fallin, Russell Luther Fallin, Leslie Fallin, Larry Hobbs, Tommy Carr and Caleb Loftin. Cox Dehi, LA |
