Joyce Dastugue Finicle passed away on , 16, 2016 in Metairie, LA, ten days short of her 90th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Thomas George Finicle. Loving mother of Fran Arriaga (Juan), Lorraine Mylie (Chuck), and Tommy Finicle (Stacy). Devoted Mémère of Kristen, Jonathan, and Katherine Arriaga; Steven and Nathan Mylie; and Ben, Sam, and Frank Finicle. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fernand and Frances Brownson Dastugue; and her brother, Dr. Fernand Dastugue, Jr.

Joyce was the founding manager of the UNO Federal Credit Union for over 25 years. She was a long-time resident of Whitney Place Condos. The family wishes to express gratitude to the compassionate staff of Fidelis Residence on Janice and Passages Hospice for their care and attention to Mom. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W. Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA 70003.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie , 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 on , 22, 2016, at 1:00 p.m; followed by interment in St. Louis No. 3. Visitation will be held prior to the services beginning at 11:00 a.m.
