Obituary: Betty Fay Bopp Fatzinger went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, on 27, 2016. She was born 8, 1955 in Brewton, Alabama, the first child of Herman and Betty Bopp. graduating from Jefferson Davis High school, she went on to be a proud graduate of Auburn University where she studied Spanish and History. She began teaching high school Spanish in Montgomery and touched the lives of many of her students over the course of her 15 years of active teaching. She also loved teaching 5 year olds in School over 25 years, along with Vacation Bible School. She married her beloved husband Edgar Hunt Fatzinger III on 15, 1989, and together they raised six wonderful children. Betty is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Herman F. Bopp (Betty), her husband Ed Fatzinger, her six children - Geoff (Elisa) Fatzinger of Beaconsfield, England; Megan (Matt) Franklin of Bay Minette, Alabama; Stewart Jackson; James Jackson (fiancée Hannah Washington); Elizabeth Lee Fatzinger; and Anna Fatzinger; her four grandchildren - Emma and Matthew Franklin of Bay Minette, Alabama and Amos and Millicent Hayes of Beaconsfield, England; her sisters Susan (Richard) Babington and Sara (Bill) Wright, and her brother Tommy (Marilyn) Bopp, all of Montgomery; her mother-in-law, Elma Fatzinger of Arlington TX, her in-laws, Brian (Jan) Fatzinger of Hilton Head SC, Scott Fatzinger of Cleveland OH, Cheryl Hause of Los Angeles, Lisa (Randy) Davidson of Mansfield TX; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. a private graveside service, the family will gather with friends at Trinity Presbyterian Church for a visitation at eleven oclock in the morning, with a memorial service to follow at noon. **Trinity Presbyterian Church is located at 1728 S Hull St, Montgomery, AL 36104.** |

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Barton Lightfoot Jr,; and siblings, Mary Kaylor, Myrtle (Pickett) Esslinger, Lillian (Gene) Botsford, Helen (Gerald) Carlisle, Curtis, Hugh (Dorothy), William, and Charles Kaylor. Hesta is survived by her loving husband, Hershal Farrow; and children, Ellen Lightfoot Hunter (William), Julie, Roger, and John Farrow, and Liz (Hobie) Buffington; grandchildren, Bryan (Amy Walsh) and Adam (Shelley Smith) Hunter, Shawn Clutts and Bryan Farrow; and brother, David (Dorothy) Kaylor; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kaylor and Evelyn "Lady" Kaylor; great granddaughter, Hannah Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Hesta was a community volunteer always willing to help those in need. She was a member of New Market Presbyterian Church where she had many leadership roles.
