Obituary: Mrs. Martha Jones Floyd, 93, of Sylvester died , 28, 2015 at Phoebe Worth Medical . The funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM on , 4, 2015 at Pinson Memorial United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the Hillcrest . The Rev. Mike Davis will officiate. Mrs. Floyd was born in Omega, GA on 8, 1922 to the late Montephier Albert and Annie Mae Colwell Jones. She had lived in Sylvester since 1954. Mrs. Floyd was a bookkeeper and Clerk having worked at the ASCS office before joining her husband, Mr. Herbert Floyd, Sr., in their Tractor and Insurance businesses. She was an avid golfer, great cook and bridge player. Mrs. Floyd was a member of the Womans Club who loved reading and gardening. She was an avid fan of both UGA and the Atlanta Braves. Mrs. Floyd was an active member of the Pinson Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia F. Tolar (Paul) of Moultrie; sons, Raymond Floyd, (Pamela) of Douglasville and David Floyd of Toccoa, GA; grandchildren, Susan F. Spencer (Victor), Erin F. Hubbard (Grant), Ray Floyd, Ben Floyd (Amy), Catherine Bailey (Steve), Martha Floyd and Anna M. Hall (Jim); great grandchildren, Bethany Richter (Keith), Jenna Goldston (Scott), Victor Lee Spencer, Grace Floyd, Gavin Floyd, Kaylin Hubbard, Sam Floyd, Siri Bailey and Caroline Bailey; great-great grandchild, Hannah Goldston and her sister, Louise Hancock of Frostproof, FL.
