Obituary: Hulene Eby, widow of Tom Eby, and long-time resident of Siloam Springs, passed away on 15 in Sarasota, FL. Hulene loved Siloam Springs. She loved the town, the creek, the residents, her church and dear friends. She is remembered for her generosity, her wisdom and her love of life and of family. She is survived by her daughter Donna Anderson, her son in-law Frank Anderson, her grandsons John, Mark and Frank, her granddaughter Amy, and many nieces and nephews. , along with their families, brought her great joy. Obituary: Betty Miller Eby, 69, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away peacefully May 19th, 2017, following an extended illness. Betty was born 28, 1947 in Millersburg, Ohio, to Emanuel and Iva Miller. She had 4 siblings. Betty attended nursing school at Aultman in Canton, Ohio, and became a Registered Nurse. Betty moved to Sarasota in 1969, and began working at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Betty enjoyed traveling, and as a young adult spent six weeks traversing Europe by Eurail pass, staying in youth hostels as she went. She married Lynn Eby on 17, 1972, at Tuttle Avenue Mennonite Church in Sarasota. In 1974, Lynn and Betty moved to South America to spend 3 years serving as missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Bolivia. Betty served both fellow missionaries and indigenous villagers by providing medical care within a Wycliffe clinic on the mission base in Tumi Chucua. Upon returning to Sarasota, Lynn and Betty had two children, Erin and Joshua. Betty returned to the work force as her children grew older, and worked as a charge nurse at a health care facility for 17 years. Betty was very active in her church, serving for many years as a Royal Rangerette group leader for young girls ages 8-12. During the summer, she served as the Nurse Volunteer at Lakewood Retreat’s youth camps in Brooksville, Florida. Betty was a lover of learning, and read hundreds of books during her lifetime. She was a regular member of her church book clubs, and read to her children constantly while they were growing up. She also spent considerable time praying for the needs of others, and memorizing scripture from the Bible. Her strong faith, kindness, and sweet spirit are remembered fondly by all who knew her. She was an exemplary wife, mother, sister, and friend. Survivors include her sister Mary Swartzentruber (Richard), her brother Myron Miller (MaryAnn), her sister Karen Schlabach (Dwane); her husband Lynn Eby; her children Erin Martell (Mark), Joshua Eby; her granddaughters Ainsley Martell and Rory Martell. She is predeceased by her parents, Emanuel and Iva Miller, and her brother Lee Miller (Nancy). Betty was a member of Covenant Life Church in Sarasota, Florida. A memorial service is planned for 8, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Covenant Life Church in Sarasota, with visiting hours , 7, 2017, 6-8 p.m., at Sunnyside Village Chapel, Sarasota. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Betty’s name to the Sunnyside Foundation (memo ) 5201 Bahia Vista Street, Sarasota, FL 34232. Obituary: Donald Harris Ebright Jr. born 21, 1950 in Lansing, Michigan and passed away on 18, 2016 at the age of 66. Donald Ebright resided in Orange Park, Florida with his wife Glenda Ebright for the past 28 years. Donald Ebright devoted 25 plus years of his life to a career in the United States Marine Corps, where he served in Vietnam and Desert Storm defending his country. Donald was a service officer in his local Dav Chapter 238, VFW Chapter and Vietnam Vets Chapter where he took much pride in helping to assist his fellow Veterans and their spouses. He was very adamant about his enjoyment of his time spent in these local chapters. Even in his time of illness he was always thinking of others and what he could do to help them. Donald was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to his family. Donald Ebright was survived by his wife Glenda Ebright, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Obituary: Emmanuel Chukwuechefunem Oki Eboji - Beloved Father,Son,Brother,Friend. His life was suddenly cut short at home on (morning?) 4th, 2016. Oki was born in Lagos - Nigeria, on 21st 1968. He is survived by his Daughter India Ifeoma Eboji(12); his mother Maria Eboji; his brothers and sisters; Precilla, Hilary, Mishack, Edith, Michael, Jude Eboji and many Siblings, Aunts and Uncles. Oki father Felix Eboji preceded him in death. Oki completed his elementary education at Corona Primary School before he then embarked on a secondary education at Kaduna where he graduated as a sixth former. And in 1998 completed a degree in Bachelors of Arts Oki always had abundance of energy, positive attitude and outlook about work and life. An astute, very business minded person with a willingness to help others and listens. He was an honourable man, above all a kind and a simple person that wouldn't hesitate to stretch out his hands when in need but equally a very private person who seek only a quiet and peaceful life. None of the many private issues he dealt with daily could he had escaped from but nonetheless he devoted the majority of his adult life trying to help others, even when things did not always go in his favour, he never ceased to help. He was a devoted father that's always been there for his daughter. He dotted around his only child and have watched her grow but she now misses her father. Oki, we your brothers and sisters don't understand why your life was so suddenly cut short, a huge void has now been left in our hearts, our lives will never be the same again now you're not here with us anymore. You were the head of all the Eboji families, as brothers and sisters, we will never stop missing you or loving you, you will forever be in our thoughts, you will be solely missed and will remain permanently inscribed in our hearts and mind.
