Obituary: Frederick Lee Estlinbaum was blessed to Walter H. Estlinbaum and Iverna (Duncan) Estlinbaum on 15, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Frederick, affectionately known as Fred, went to be with his Heavenly Father on 15, 2015 at his home in El Reno, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Iverna Estlinbaum. He is survived by his loving wife Beverly (Wilson) Estlinbaum; three children: Caskey Estlinbaum and wife Kathy of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Rose Jones of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Greg Estlinbaum of Pilot Point, Texas; three stepsons: Robert McCalip and wife Tammy of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Larry McCalip and wife Debbie of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and Jimmy McCalip of El Reno, Oklahoma: two siblings: Robert Estlinbaum and wife Betty of Bethany, Oklahoma, and Judy Bradley and husband Curtis of Ponca City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren: Kristy Johnson and husband Chris of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Ashley Cason and husband Dale of Yukon, Oklahoma, Magan Word and husband Chad of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Michael Killingsworth of Yukon, Oklahoma, Casey McCalip of Colorado, Cody McCalip and wife Shelby of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Tyler McCalip of Newcastle, Oklahoma, and Breanna McCalip of Tuttle, Oklahoma; and nine great-grandchildren. Fred was an avid fisherman and hunter; he enjoyed fishing at Rainy Lake in Canada, at Ray Roberts Lake in Texas, and had possibly visited every fishing hole in Oklahoma. When it came to hunting, it didn matter the game, all that mattered was that he was doing something he loved all while having the opportunity to embrace and appreciate nature. Fred found peace in Gods creations and loved all animals: skunks, possums, squirrels, you name it; he even had seven bird-dogs and two cats. Fred enjoyed baseball and football. Some of his favorite teams were the University of Oklahoma, the Texas Rangers, and sometime the Dallas Cowboys, depending on their season, of course. Baseball brought so much joy to Fred that he coached little league baseball even after his boys had outgrown it. Nonetheless, Fred saw it as a blessing to be able to share his hobbies with his sons. Fred attended and graduated from Putnam City High School. Fred spent most of his career with the same company and had seen many changes over the years; when he originally started with the company, it was known as Western Electric, then it changed to AT&T and finally to Lucent Technology. Fred had also worked as a carpenter with Wright Brothers Construction . On 24, 1987 he married Beverly Reeves. It was a match made in heaven. The love they shared for each other was so pure and timeless. Freds family specifically remembers how much he loved Beverlys homemade custard pies. Fred found importance in having his family near and was known for his Christmas gatherings. Fred was unique and loved dearly. He will be missed and carried in our hearts forever. |
