Obituary: NISKAYUNA- Sharyn L. Ezzo, 69, entered into eternal peace on at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Sharyn was born in Albany on 27, 1944, a daughter of Rosalie Chandler Garrity and the late John C. Garrity. She was a 1962 graduate of Niskayuna High School and attended Spencer Business . In 1967 she received a certification from the Red Cross as a licensed Nurses Aide. Sharyn worked for over 20 years for Dr. Corbett, assisting in many capacities within the office. Sharyn was a lively spirited woman with a kind and loving heart. Her dedication to her family and faith was evident in the way she lived her life. Sharyn was a communicant of St. Anthonys Church, participating as an Eucharist Minister at church, Ellis and Sunnyview Hospitals she also served on the Parish Council. She embraced her family and friends and the precious time she spent with them, whether it was camping in Schroon River, vacationing in Florida or visiting the casinos. Sharyn had a insatiable desire to learn as much as she could, making her an avid reader. With her talented visions, she loved to do crafts, and for a time owned and operated with her mother-in-law, Sharbets Craftique on McClellan Street. She enjoyed bowling, cooking and gardening. Sharyn married the love of her life, John Ezzo on 28, 1964. Together, they recently celebrated with family and friends, 50 wonderful years together. She is survived by her beloved husband John Ezzo; her children, John Mario and his wife Elizabeth Ezzo, of Auburn, WA and Lisa Marie Manchester and her husband Bradley, of Ft. Myers, FL; mother, Rosalie Garrity; loving siblings, Stephanie G. Kleindienst and John E. Garrity; nieces and nephew, Jennifer Kleindienst, Jennifer and Justin Coletti , Matthew and Trish Ezzo and the late Mark A. Ezzo; great-nephew and niece, Justice Coletti and Norah Rose Ezzo; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anthony and Diane Ezzo and Linda and Richard Jones. services will be held on morning at 10 am from the Rossi & Ditoro , Union at N. Jay Streets and then to St. John the Evangelist Church, Union Street, where a Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Entombment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer , Niskayuna. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro on from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sharyns memory to St. Anthonys Restoration Fund, 331 Seward Place, Schenectady, NY 12305. |

Obituary: NISKAYUNA – John A. Ezzo, 70, entered into eternal rest on , 22, 2017 at Ellis Hospital. John was born in Schenectady, a son of the late Mario and Elizabeth (Coppola) Ezzo. He was a 1964 graduate of Linton High School and worked at ALCO for a short time. John began his 30 year tenure with the General Electric , retiring as an inspector in the Turbine Division, where he respectfully earned the nick name No Pass John. Like his professional career, John lived his life with excellence, precision and perfection. He was kind, gentle, articulate, and compassionate. He was a member of the General Electric Quarter Century Club, a bowler at Donatos Sportsman Bowl, and outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting, and loved tending to his garden. John was predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife, Sharyn Garrity Ezzo whom he married on 28, 1964 until her death on 3, 2014. He is survived by his loving family; children, John Mario (Elizabeth) Ezzo, of Auburn, WA and Lisa Marie (Bradley) Manchester, of Ft. Myers, Fl; siblings, Anthony (Diane) Ezzo, of Pattersonville and Linda (Richard) Jones, of Schenectady; mother-in-law, Rosalie Chandler Garrity, sister-in-law Stephanie Kleindienst, brother-in-law, John E. Garrity, nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Justin) Coletti, Matthew (Trish) Ezzo and Jennifer Kleindienst; great nephews and niece, Justice, Marcus and Nora Rose and his dear cousin Michael DiLorenzo. Services will be held on at 10 am from the Rossi & Ditoro , 501 Union Street and then to St. Anthonys Church, Seward Place, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated at 11am. Entombment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer , Niskayuna. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro on from 4 to 7 pm.
