Lorene then married Byrl Shear on 16, 1980. He passed away May 29, 1992. Lorene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She joins in heaven her parents; husbands; son; nine sisters; and one brother. Obituary: DONALD CARL EISENBARTH 1931 – 2017 Donald Carl Eisenbarth age 86 of Plattsmouth, NE peacefully passed away on , 21, 2017 at his residence. Don was born on 18, 1931 to John Joseph and Effie Reba (Thorpe) Eisenbarth in Havelock, NE. He was raised and schooled in Lincoln, NE and graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School with the class of 1950. graduating from high school, he was drafted into U.S. Navy. Don served his country for four years on the U.S.S. Laffey during the Korean Conflict. serving his country, Don returned to Lincoln and began working for Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph. He met Merna Jean Petereit and they were later married on 12, 1957 in Lincoln. Don and Merna made their home and raised their children in Plattsmouth. Don continued to work for LT&T in Plattsmouth until he retired in of 1993. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #365 in Plattsmouth. He is survived by his son: Gregg Eisenbarth and fiancé Kim Groenjes of Plattsmouth, NE; two daughters: Cheryl Leger and husband John of OFallon, MO; Colene Hearshman and husband Kevin of Des Moines, IA; nine grandchildren: Misty, Sarah, Dawn, Mandy, Rhyan, Thomas, Logan, Meghan, and Erica; eleven great grandchildren: Samuel, Ethan, Ella, Madison, Lane, Maria, Mya, Lincoln, Alexandria, Emmerick, and Ava; sister: Shirley Rodgers of Lincoln, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Effie Eisenbarth, wife: Merna Eisenbarth, infant daughter: Maria Mary Eisenbarth, three brothers: John Bruce, Benjamin Eisenbarth, Paul Eisenbarth, and sister: Mary Steinhagen. Visitations will be held from 1:00 to5:00 P.M., , 25, 2017 at Roby in Plattsmouth. Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., , 25, 2017 at Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. A Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., , 26, 2017 at Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth with Father Loras K. Grell officiating, Misty Koenig and Mandy Schmitt as lectors, Jeff Scanlan as acolyte, Terry Little as vocalist, and Laurie Hajek-Jones as organist.
