Obituary: Chester A. Duvinski, 93, of Citrus Springs, Florida, passed away on , 2, 2012 at Hospice of Citrus in Lecanto, Florida. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was born 24, 1918 to Stanley and Mary Duvinski. Mr. Duvinski retired from the U.S. Postal Service in New York, New York in 1972 as a supervisor and moved to Citrus Springs. Chester served his country proudly during WWII as a U.S Army sergeant serving with the 756th Tank Battalion and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Mr. Duvinski is survived by his two sons; Edward Duvinski and his wife Nancy of Milford, Pennsylvania and Stephen Bilsky and his wife Christine of Bardonia, New York; grandchildren Erica Moore and her husband Corey and Stephen Bilsky and great grandson Andrew Moore. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, The Late Helen Duvinski, on 1, 2003. Obituary: 15, 1960, in Port au Prince Haiti, Marie Laurienna Michaud and Andre Laguerre welcomed and added a tough, smart, funny, kind, and beautiful baby girl named Vania Laguerre to their growing family. She was also welcomed by her older brothers and sister: Wilbert Romain, Gladys Michaud, and Jean Robert Laguerre. Some years later she became big sister and defender to Garry, Mirlande, Jimmy, Daphnee Cayemitte and Nadine Cayemitte. Vania grew up in Haiti and attend both elementary and high school, Coeur de Jesus and Senghor. She was a very intelligent student and took pride in learning and excelling. At the age of 16 she experienced the death of her father and shortly thereafter she moved to Caracas, Venezuela where she joined her older sister Gladys. While in Caracas, Vania worked hard by running her own business as saleswoman. She also welcomed her first son Yerry Herrison with Gabriel Herrison. seven years in Venezuela, Vania migrated to the United States in 1986 and resided in Miami Florida. In the states, she took an interest in the medical field. She became a certified nursing assistant and worked at Mercy Hospital. Her ambitions propelled her to explore other options in the medical field and studied respiratory therapy but decided that respiratory therapy didn fulfill her desire to care for ailing people, and returned to nursing as a wound care specialist. While in Miami she gave birth to her second child, David, married Arnoux Duverger, and had her last child, Kimberly. While working as a wound care provider and raising three children, Vania continued to pursue her education and was enrolled in courses to become a registered nurse. During that time, specifically in 2006, she decided to dedicate her life to God and was saved. Her career pursuit came to a halt when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. Her faith in God and strength enabled her to endure the aggressive treatments and surgeries for two years. In 2010, she was cancer free but that was short lived with the devastating news she received in the latter part of 2011 that the cancer had metastasized to her lung and bones. The news did not shake her faith or spirit. She continued to live her life and indulged in her favorite activities such as going to church, reading the bible, spending time with family, watching Spanish Novellas, and teaching the word of God to whomever she made contact with, despite the limitations the disease imposed. She always believed that she would defeat cancer; but unfortunately, Vania, the child of God, daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend was called home on 28th 2013. Her legacy will continue with her three children, grandchildren and two stepchildren: Yerry, David, Kimberly, Ayanna, Yermauri, Malia, Johan and Jonathan; survived by her husband: Arnoux Duverger. Shell continue to live in hearts of her mother, brothers, and sisters: Marie L. Cayemitte, Wilbert, Gladys, Jean Robert, Garry, Mirlande, Jimmy, Daphnee, and Nadine; nieces & nephews: Ricardo, Jackie, Yolanda, Vashaun, Jean Jr., Quavis, Jacquan, Clifford, Carmello, Joey, Alex, Dwight, Joanna, William, and Christine and many grandnieces and nephews who she adored; her friends; Mika, Nyde, Rachel and her church family at Jesus Miracle. Tribute I love you sis, I will never forget the way you protected me, cared for me and gave me advice, when I was a boy. You were truly a big sister that any boy would want. I know where ever you are now you'll continue looking after me and I just want you to know I will always love you and you'll always be in my mind. Rest in peace, my sister. Obituary: Amelia Duvelsdorf, 90, a resident of Port St. Lucie, departed this life , 15, 2016. Amelia was preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony and Louis Masucci. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Frank Duvelsdorf; brother, Peter Masucci, and his wife, ; numerous nieces and nephews and many family members and friends. Amelia retired from working as the Director of Personnel from various universities. She was also an avid reader with a very outgoing personality who was loved by everyone she met.
