She married Harold "Harry" Driesse, 17, 1956.Her husband, Harold Driesse and daughter, Margaret Frerichmann preceded her in death.She is survived by her four daughters, Dorothy Hale (Steve) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Patricia Slawson (Dave) of Salt Lake City, UT, Sandra Bunn (late husband Robert) of Clearwater, FL, Karen Halloran (Edward) of Virginia Beach, VA; son-in-law Steve Frerichmann of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Stephanie, Jeremy, Kim, Michelle, Kevin, Eddie, Kaitlyn, Erin, Jamie, Dylan, Rachael, and John; ten great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Yvonne Sullivan (twin) of Deland, FL, Ann Plante and Peggy Loftus of Manchester, NH. Obituary: Larry Coach Dries passed away on , 14, 2011 from complications of Lewy Body Disease and stroke. Larry was born in Woodstock, Minnesota on 4, 1937. graduating from high school in Pipestone, Larry moved to Florida, where he managed the Orlando Drive-In Theater for 25 years. the drive-in closed, Larry went to work at Senco of Florida for the next 20 years. Larry worked part-time at the YMCA. Senco of Florida went out of business, he went full-time at the YMCA until he retired in 2006. Larry was an active member of St. James Cathedral Church. Larry coached for years at St. James School. Larry coached us all that teamwork, pride and hustle makes a winning combination. Many young lives were touched by Coach Dries. Larry was an active blood donor for 40 years and donated 98 gallons of blood, saving many lives. Larry was also recognized for his love of Elvis, by impersonating him with grand performances. Larry also did a small commercial for the Historical Society of Orlando on News 13. Larry is survived by his wonderful, loving wife Connie of 50 years and 5 beautiful daughters, 4 son-in-laws, Lori, Kathleen (Michael), Monica (David), Jill (Justin) and Ieleen (Dan); 5 grandchildren (God Blessum Souls), Alexis, Zachary, Hannah, Noah and Ella. Our Dad was an inspiration to us all, teaching us that life isn easy, but to work hard, respect each other, support each other and above all always love each other. Dads legacy will live through his family, many friends and those St. James Panthers that still call him Coach, and his YMCA friends. Mass will be held on , 19, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. James Cathedral Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Obituary: Linda Catherine (Dreyer) Driemeier passed away on Aug 14, 2014 in Port Orange, FL. She was born in St. Louis, MO on Dec 27, 1947. Her father, Carl Joseph Dreyer; mother, Catherine Josephine (Hamas) Dreyer and brother Carl John Dreyer preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Allen Henry Driemeier of Port Orange; son, Blair Allen of Holly Hill, FL and daughter Brett Kathryn of Jacksonville, FL. Linda grew up in St Louis where she was a member of Holy Family church and attended grade school there. She attended high school at Bishop DuBourg High School. graduation she attended Fontbonne University for one semester and then began her working career. Linda worked at the U. S. Aeronautical Chart and Information , the Army Aviation Procurement and the US Postal Data in St. Louis. She and Allen were married in 1974. In 1977 son Blair was born and also that year the family moved to Cortez, CO where in 1980 daughter Brett was born. In 1980 Allen began a civilian career with the US Air Force and the family moved to Warrensburg, Mo. Linda was an active homemaker and helped organize a Co-op preschool there. In 1985 Allen began working at McChord AFB in Washington state. The family moved to Olympia, WA. Linda attended a community college there and received an associate degree as a medical recorder. She worked shortly at St Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, WA and the VA Hospital at American Lake, WA.. She then transferred to McChord AFB where she worked in the Manpower office and Contracting office as a administrative assistant. In the early 1990s she began working at Meadows Elementary School in Lacey, WA as a Special Education Assistant. She loved working with the children there. Linda water skied, snow skied and enjoyed canoe trips and camping. In 1974 she served as Secretary of the St. Louis Ski Club. People that have know her will always remember her cutting and dry sense of humor and her ability to make you laugh. She was a special person and will be missed by her family and friends.
