Bob was born on 29, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama. His family was from Kentucky. He has been a resident of Palm Beach 80 years. He was the owner of Robert Downs Construction Co. building many homes in Palm Beach . His favorite things were boating, fishing, hunting, mainly watching nature, summers in North Carolina, being with his beloved family & fun times. Bob became a good gardener & enjoyed feeding & watching birds. Obituary: Ralph W. Downs, 84, of Pensacola, died 18, 2016. Mr. Downs was born 15, 1932 in Adams , Ohio to Arthur and Lena Bell Downs. He moved to Pensacola in 2004 from Tampa, Florida and is a member of Gulf Coast Christian Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Known as the Candy Man, he could often be found passing out mints to anyone he came in contact with. Mr. Downs was predeceased by his wife, of over 64 years Doris. Survivors include; sons, Ken Downs and wife Joanne, Keith Downs and wife Tiphane; grandchildren, Sheila, Shoni, Peter, Kevin, Nick and Tyler; great grandchildren, Hannah, Austin, Madison and Vivian; great great grandchild, Riley. services will be held at 9:00 a.m., , 25, 2016 at Gulf Coast Christian Church, 590 E. Obituary: Morgan W. Downs was born on 27, 1920 in Buffalo, NY to his parents Joseph and Grace (Paul) Downs. He passed away on May 29, 2014 in Cape Coral, FL. Morgans wife Doris, died in 2002. He is survived by his children David Downs, Dennis K. (Mary) Downs, and Jan (Richard) Downs-Barrett; grandchildren Jessica Downs and Grant Barrett; nieces Audrey Jacobs and Carol (Ken) Warner and many more nieces and nephews. Morgan attended and graduated from Bradford High School in Bradford, PA. He served proudly as a medic in the Army and was a WWII veteran who went on to become an Industrial Engineer for DuPont. 31 years he decided to retire to North Fort Myers, FL in 1982. Morgan had a lake house at Lime Lake, NY where he was able to enjoy his lifelong hobby of boating.
