Obituary: Barbara (Midgie) E. (Parks) Dow, 90 was born on 11, 1924 in Boston, MA. She passed away unexpectedly on 8, 2015 in North Bay Hospital, New Port Richey, FL. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Eva C.B. (Abbott) Parks. On May 17, 1942 she married the love of her life, Norris Elden (Buster) Dow and celebrated 65 years with him until his death in 2007. She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service, Andover, MA Service , after having been a stay at home Mom, while her children were growing up. Midgie and Buster lived in Tewksbury, MA. for many years and became snowbirds in Largo, FL from 1992 until 2006, when they became fulltime residents. She had most recently resided at Atria Baypoint Village in Hudson, FL. She was survived by her four children, Norris (Edward) (Ned & Hope) Dow, Cochran, GA, Steven Robert (Susan) Dow, New Carlisle, OH, Jeffrey Scott (Charlotte) Dow, St. Petersburg, FL and Susan A. (Suzie & Dan) Carlson, Port Richey, FL, one sister, Eleanor (Parks) Caliri, Blairsville, GA., 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren,several nieces and nephews and many Canadian cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Little Shot, 265 Sheraton Blvd., Macon, GA. 31210 in memory of Barbara E. Dow. |

Erstine was born in Mayport, PA and was a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his son, Richard (Flora) of Margate, FL, two daughters; Carol (Steven) Dalton and Shelly Rhodes, both of Titusville, FL.
