Obituary: Edward Ingram Dombroski, age 91 formerly of Sterling, died , 28, 2015 at Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor, Florida. Edward was born on 16, 1924 in Morrison, Illinois; the son of Edward and Pauline (Ingram) Dombroski. He married Betty (Olds) Celletti on 10, 1973 in Sterling. Edward was a farmer and carpenter for all of his life. Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters, Margaret Maggie (John) Hudson of Rock Falls and Debra Celletti of Clearwater, Fl.; one son, Richard (Mary Beth) Dombroski of Morrison; three granddaughters, five great grandchildren; one step great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gail Dombroski. Visitation will be , 4, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at the McDonald in Rock Falls, 1002 12th Avenue. service will be , 5 at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Bruce Ludeke, officiating. Obituary: Tillie was born in Bay City, Michigan, on 2, 1909, in the house built by her father. She was the daughter of Blanche (Biskupski) Stachowski and Stanley Stachowski. Tillie was raised with six siblings: two sisters and four brothers. She attended St. Stanislaus Kostka School for eight years. To help support their large family, Tillie and her sister, Caroline, quit school and found employment at a local cigar factory. Tillie married Floyd Dombkowski in her early twenties. had two daughters, Lucille Marie and Alfrieda Ann. The marriage to Floyd was short lived. He left the family during the Great Depression of the Thirties. Tillies first job was at the Bay City Wolverine Knitting Mills. As a result of working at the mills, Tillie became an avid seamstress. She was a perfectionist in the art of crocheting, tatting, and embroidering. During World War II, Tillie worked at the Autolite (Prestolite) factory. Little did she know then that she would remain at this factory for 28 years. Tillie remained active after retirement. She joined a local senior travel group and took numerous trips to scenic areas throughout the United States. Tillie enrolled in several exercise classes. Her favorite pastime was line dancing; she danced until the age of eighty. For ninety years, Tillie resided at 1317 South Van Buren Street, Bay City, Michigan. She belonged to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church; she was a lifetime member of St. Stans Senior Club, an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary, and a long-standing member of St. Stanislaus Ladies Altar/Rosary Society. Tillie always looked forward to the socialization at the Felician Sisters auxiliary meetings. Tillie loved visiting her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the center of attention at reunions and never missed an opportunity to have photographs taken with her family. Tillie resided for three years in Mt. Juliet, Tennesee, then spent her remaining years in West Melbourne, Florida, with her daughter, Alfrieda (Fritzie) Russell. In 2008, Tillie became a first time great great grandmother. On 2, 2009, Tillie celebrated her 100th birthday. Tillie was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, an honorary member of the Polish National Alliance, Lodge 3203, and an honorary member of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America. Obituary: Nancilea J. Nanci Dombkowski, 63, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away on Sat., 24, 2012 at Hospice House in Lecanto. A native of Hatfield, Massachusetts, she was born 8, 1948 to Thomas and e (Zehelski) Michaloski. In 1991, she and her husband moved to Gibraltar and Woking, England. In 1995 they moved to Beverly Hills, Florida. Nanci was a lifelong loving homemaker and was also a devoted volunteer in a number of areas. While living in Hatfield, Mass., she volunteered throughout their school system and was also a volunteer Girl Scout leader and an EMT in Hatfield. Her volunteer positions in Citrus included Citrus Springs Elementary School and Pope John Paul II Catholic School as well as Daystar Life . Nanci was a parishioner of St. Scholastica Catholic Church, Lecanto, FL. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Frank J. Dombkowski, Easthampton, Ma and Beverly Hills, FL; adopted son and grandson Anthony Dombkowski, also of Beverly Hills, FL and brother Terry Michal of Hatfield, Mass. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dombkowski was preceded in death by her only child, Melissa Dombkowski, in 1998. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri., 30th at 10:30 A.M. from St. Scholastica Catholic Church, Lecanto, FL with Fr. Michael Smith, Celebrant.
