Obituary: Donald Raymond Duvall was born in Wapato, Washington, the son of the late Walter S. and Irene A. Albert. He went to Seattle Prep H.S. and one year at Seattle U, where he starred in a school play. He met his wife, the late Shirley J. Duvall in Seattle, WA. He is survived by his brother Lewis Duvall. He was preceded in death by his brother Leo, his sister Muriel (Basel), and son Larry. Don was a devoted husband and extraordinary father and grandfather. He is survived by: two children, Gary (Gay) and Cherie; six grandchildren, Sean Fields (Kelli), Jamie Fields, Catherine Duvall (Peter), Marc Duvall (Kim), Luke Duvall, Matthew Duvall; and three great-grand children, Taylor, Tyler and Kaylee. Don worked as fire fighter with Seattle, and retired as a Lieutenant. He was known for his kindness and devotion to family. His interests included off-street motorcycle riding with his children and friends, camping and boating with family, attending childrens and grandchildrens sporting events, building two homes that he lived in, traveling to Arizona with his wife and friends in the winter, and poker with other retired firemen and friends. Obituary: Dirk Henry Duvall, beloved son of Dale and Duvall passed away on 3, 2016 in Gig Harbor, Washington after extended heath issues. Dirk was born on 20, 1953 in Portland, Oregon and grew up in the Cedar Hills area with his sister, Dian, and brother, Dean. Dirk's childhood was filled with family activities that included outdoor adventures and travel throughout the United States. Dirk enjoyed music and played guitar with a group call The "Royalties". That love of music remained throughout Dirk's life. Dirk joined the US Navy shortly after high school and proceeded to service 20 years in active sea duty; all the while receiving numerous Navy Commendation Metals for his exemplary performance. Achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer, Dirk served aboard various Naval ships including the USS Denver, USS Oliver Hazard Perry, and USS Cochran. His Naval career took him all over the world -- including two tours of Viet Nam on the USS Denver where he was involved in the evacuation of Saigon. In 1980, while based in Columbia, South Carolina, Dirk married Josefina Locklear and fell in love with her two little daughters, Joanna and Jennifer. In 1983, Jillian was born. The family followed Dirk to Hawaii, Japan and Connecticut for Dirk's final assignment at the Submarine Base located in Groton. Dirk's discharge from the Navy in 1991, the family moved to Bremerton, Washington. Dirk has lived in Portland, Beaverton and Bend, Oregon. Then in 2007 decided to move to Bremerton and Port Orchard, Washington in order to be close to his daughter, Jillian and her family. Dirk is survived by his daughter and her family, Jillian & Johnny Guthrie-Stoneburner and grandsons, Gage and Alexander; as well as his step-daughters and their families, Joanna and Jeffrey Lame, Grandchildren, Jenna and Jaydon; Jennifer and Jason Reynolds and granddaughters, Ausiana, Sarah and Taryn; brother, Dean Duvall; sister, Dian Duvall; mother, Duvall, and late father, Dale Duvall -- along with numerous aunties, uncles and cousins. The family wishes to thank the numerous medical personnel who cared for Dirk throughout the years. Services will be 13, 2016 at Miller-Woodlawn at 1:00 pm. |

Obituary: Mrs. Dee M. Duval died peacefully at home on , 11, 2017 at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Glen Duval, her service dog Maggie, and additional children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Dee was born on 1, 1938 in Olympia, Washington to Ken and Ev Williams. She started a family early and had 5 children. She met the love of her life, Glen Duval, and married him on 19, 1973. Dee was then baptized as a faithful servant of Jehovah on 21, 1974 and was joined later that year by her husband Glen. celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary earlier this year with their family. Dee was an accomplished Accordion player and loved playing for family and friends. In their youth Glen and Dee had a love of camping that they shared with their children and grandchildren. Dee enjoyed playing Canasta, crocheting, and has had a love of horses throughout her entire life. She inherited a love of the ocean from her mother that has been passed along to her daughter Diana and her granddaughters Nina and Nicole. Her granddaughters have fond memories of camping, canning and learning to sew with Dee. In more recent years as her health became a concern Dee gained great comfort from attending meetings of Jehovahs Witnesses as part of the Rochester congregation. She and Glen were often found having lunch at the Twin Cities Senior , where they shared their love of Jehovah with others. Dee and Glen were great aides in the letter writing campaign of Jehovahs Witnesses over the last several years. A memorial service is scheduled for 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Rochester, WA. Brother Jack Kilmer will officiate the memorial. A reception will follow at Fort Borst Park, Centralia, WA, Kitchen #1. Condolences can be sent to the family via Nina Skol PO Box 1444, Chehalis, WA 98532.
