Obituary: Janet passed away peacefully at her home in Burke, Virginia, 15th, 2014, surrounded by her caring family. Janet was born 16, 1943 in Lansing, Michigan, the eldest of three children to Esther and Lyle Bosworth. She graduated from Michigan State University and spent 10 years as a newspaper reporter, editor and photographer. She then became a loving mother to her two sons, Matthew and Kevin. While raising her sons she went back to school graduating from George Mason University with a teaching degree. She loved teaching ESOL at South Secondary School in Lorton, Virginia. She will be dearly missed by her two sons and their wives, Crystal Dower and Emily Dower; 5 grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Bosworth, Joseph (Ann) Bosworth and many friends. Family will be receiving friends on , 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Everly , 10565 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22030, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM followed by a catered reception until 2:00 PM. Janet will be inurned at a family plot in Sunfield, Michigan. Friends and family will be advised of the arrangements at a later date. Obituary: Albert M. Dower, Jr., age 80, a native of Mt. Hope, West Virginia and a resident of Newport News, departed this life on , May 8, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family. He served in the U. S. Army with the Fifth Airborne Ranger and retired as a Master Sergeant. his military service he was a deputy for the Newport News Sheriff Department; and, thereafter, retired from the Hampton Roads Sanitation, Menchville Plant.
