Obituary: Harold A Ducote, 93, of Kansas City, MO, passed away 13, 2015. Ducote was born on 11, 1921 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of Hebon Joseph Ducote and Mary Olive Bell. Harold, as he was called is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Inez F. Ducote; his brother Hebon J. Ducote, Jr.; Inezs sister, Frances and her husband, Rodney; his sons, Harold A. Ducote, Jr. and his wife, Ellen; Thomas S. Ducote and his wife, Shirley; Bryan Joseph Ducote and his wife, Sherry. Their daughter, Mary Jane Ducote Peabody is deceased. are survived by Francess daughters Janet and her husband, Rob; and Dana and her husband, Brad. Grandchildren left are: Harold A. Ducote, III and his wife Kathy; John Gerard Ducote, USMC Retired and his wife, Nicole; Bryan C. Ducote and his wife, Heather; Nicole N. Fry and her husband, Tom; Natalie Loomis and her husband, Jeff; Thomas Ducote and his wife, Lisa; Monique Migdol and her husband, Michael; Samantha Estrello and her husband, Javier; Natalie Peabody; Rachael Peabody; Samuel Peabody. Great grandchildren are: Harold A. Ducote, IV; John Gerard Ducote, II; Alex Mowrey; Allen Fry; Aaron Fry; Jack Loomis; Lincoln Loomis; Lucy Loomis; Jane Chadwick; Mary Chadwick; Jack Ducote; Samuel Ducote; Emily Ducote; Sarah Ducote; Elizabeth Ducote, Thomas Ducote; Megan Ducote; Kayleigh Migdol; Will Migdol; Olivia Estrello; Eliana Estrello; Hudson Peabody; Capri Batchelor and Adalee Batchelor . A student at LSU before World War II, Harold married Inez on 29, 1941 at St. Johns Roman Catholic Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. Harold served in the United States Army, rising to the rank of First Lieutenant. Harold fought in North Africa, in the Tunisian Campaign, the Sicilian Campaign and carried out many intelligence missions in Italy, before the invasion. Harold was badly wounded near Bizerte in Tunisia, spending many months in the hospital before returning to limited duty with the Army. Medically retired from the Army, Harold returned to LSU, obtained a degree in chemistry, and became a chemist at the Bishop Texas Petro Chemical Plant. Visitation will be 7-9pm 30, 2015 at Seaside Memorial Park and 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, TX. Burial will be 1pm 31, 2015. |

Obituary: Margaret Marie DuClos passed away on 16, 2010, at the age of 92 after a long and joyful life. She was born in Montgomery , Texas on 11, 1918, to Robert and Viola Dossey. She was a resident of the Eastwood area of Houston for over 65 years. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Louis Bertrand DuClos, her daughter Beverly Ann Goodknight and her son Louis Bertrand DuClos. She is survived by Daughter Barbara Sue Roark of Stafford, TX and Daughter Janet Kay Marcin of Apple Valley, CA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Obituary: Wona Louise Duckworth 98 Graveside Service will be , 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Llano with Pastor John Love officiating services are under the direction of Griggs Schooler Gordon Directors 5400 Bell. Wona Duckworth was born in 1917, and in her life experienced the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl, serving as a Bomb Girl who worked an assembly line at Pantex during WWII, and took every family tragedy and triumph in stride. On 14, 2015 she was reunited with her Lord and her husband of 70 years, Joe R. Duckworth, who passed away in 2006. She was a hairdresser for more than thirty years, and let her competitive streak come out in her hobbies, golf, water skiing, square dancing and needlework. Wona was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist church for many decades, but loved her family above all. Wona was preceded in death by her husband Joe R. Duckworth Wona is survived by a daughter Betty Evans; son Rod Duckworth and wife Coco; grandsons Brian Simms; Josh Duckworth and wife Jessica; granddaughters Kathryn Charlton and husband Jeff; Jill McElroy and husband Rick. Great grandchildren Michael, Daniel, Lela and husband Brandon, Steven, Jake, Reese and Riley, and Ryan. Along with a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
