Obituary: Jeanne was taken from our loving arms early , 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Sandy Wilson and leaves behind her husband of 63 years John N. Donhaiser and her sister Jolly LaPlante and husband Walt. Jeanne was born 1, 1924 in Auburn, New York and married John after he completed his service to his country on 16, 1946. Jeanne and John had two children and spent their life together enjoying the out-of-doors sailing, camping and RVing. She is survived by her daughter Carol Meyer, granddaughters Sarah Meyer and Rebecca Miller and husband Wes Miller, and grandsons Jonathan Meyer and wife Meyer and Christopher Wilson. She leaves behind one great-grandson Nathanial Meyer. She enjoyed life to the fullest and we will miss her. Born in Auburn, New York to r T. Loyster and Francis Marie Fordyce on 1, 1924, Jeanne was one of two children. The H.T. worked for International Harvester and moved to Saginaw, Michigan where the girls attended Arthur Hill High School in the forties. She and John met in high school where they were both in the band. John was a track star in high school and had a propensity for being able to re-assemble his automobile in time for their night dates. graduation, John was called to serve in the South Pacific and upon his return in of 1946 he asked his high school sweetheart to marry him and they were married 16, 1946. lived in a trailer home in Saginaw for the first few years and in 1948 they had the first of their two daughters, Sandra Ann. Shortly after Sandys arrival they moved south and lived briefly in Ardmore, Oklahoma before settling in Houston where John worked in the oil patch. The bought a home on Dewberry Street in Houston and had their second daughter Carol Jeanne in 1951 The house on Dewberry was not air conditioned, nor where the schools at that time but shortly they were able to afford one window A/C unit for the den. In the early 60s they were able to afford a bigger home off Memorial. The home on Mignon was contemporary and had a swimming pool. Shortly John started his own business designing and building submersible drilling platforms and found himself traveling around the world. This ultimately left Jeanne weathering Hurricane Carla with the two girls alone. John was a pilot and they shared years of flying in many different planes. would frequent air shows and make trips to New Orleans and Michigan. owned a Cessna 150, Bonanza, Aerocoup and their pride and joy the twin engine Queen Air. In the late 80s Johns heart condition finally caused him to give up this love. As with all children, the girls grew up, went to college, married and left Mom and Pop on their own. Jeanne and John were not at a loss for fun though, they made a trip around the world together and took up camping in a re-built Volkswagen Van they affectionately called their Hippie Bus. also got their first sail boat which was a Hobie catamaran which they would take to races at Lake Somerville on a regular basis. Later they upgraded to a Hunter and then to the Gulfstar 47 named 24-Karat. Jeannes love of the outdoors took them sailing, camping, and RVing for most of their years. When the pace slowed a little they purchased a Carver 41 power yacht which they used to cruise the near coast of Texas for many years. In addition, they had a Fifth Avenue 5th Wheel travel trailer they took camping around Texas. In a slow progression, Johns failing heart slowed things down but Jeanne was an undying source of support and encouragement to keep him active. These last years she has been his primary caregiver and had given all her energies over to the task despite her own advancing age. Jeanne and John have been married 63 years and she will be missed beyond words. |

Obituary: Angela Dee Doneske, 56, of Montgomery, Texas passed away 26, 2011. She was born 21, 1955 in Conroe, Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother Betty Lou Blair and mother-in-law Mary Ann Hart. Angela is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Mike Doneske; children Mariah Montsinger and husband Philip, Blair Doneske and wife Stephanie, Betty Ann Lee and husband Matthew, Steven Doneske; father John Blair and wife Sandra; grandchildren Millie, Logan, Cohen, Tucker, Madeline and Tyler; sister Celia Blair; brother Clint Blair and wife Diane. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother was her main focus in life. She had many hobbies, but some of her favorite ones were bird watching, baking and arts and crafts. Services are set for 2:00 P.M., , 1, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands .
