Obituary: Brenda Ann Luera, age 47, passed away 28, 2016. She was born on May 15, 1969 to Manuel and Irma Luera in Kingsville, Texas. She was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Brenda was a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her children and visiting with friends and family. She will always be remembered for her devotion to family, her undeniable love for her children, her great sense of humor, miraculous attitude, and her unshakeable faith in God. Obituary: Marlene Ann Dojahn, born 11, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Steve and Mildred Jozsa, has rejoined her loving parents on 7, 2010 at the age of 63. Marlene taught public school for 34 years at the elementary level in Ohio and Texas, of which, the past 23 years have been at Coker Elementary in North East ISD. She was a master teacher in every aspect of the profession having been awarded many honors including Humanitarian awards, the Trinity Prize for Excellence, PTA Life Membership, Teacher of the Year and the Superintendants Award twice while teaching at Coker Elementary. One of her greatest accomplishments included going back to school at the age of 52 and receiving her Masters Degree in Adult Education from the University of the Incarnate Word. These honors do not begin to compare the level of dedication and compassion she showed every single child in her classrooms through all her years of teaching. Marlene was an enthusiastic volunteer, sacrificing her time to Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, Boy Scouts of America, of Dimes, Elf Louise, mentoring college students and the PTA at Coker Elementary. She enjoyed baking cookies, decorating for the holidays, crafting personalized cards, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived and lovingly missed by her husband of 32 years, George Dojahn, her son Steven Dojahn and her brother Robert Jozsa. She was preceded in death by grandson, Clayton Dojahn, who she was greatly fond of. She is additionally survived by three step-children, Karen Helms and husband Larry of Garland, Kenneth Dojahn and wife Amy of Ennis, Dennis Dojahn of Jourdanton, numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren and other loving family members and friends. Obituary: Linda Bunte Doiron went to be with the Lord on 8, 2015 at the age of 61. She was born 9, 1954 in Smithville, Texas to Granville and Helen Bunte,. Linda graduated from Smithville High School with the Class of 1972, where she very proudly played the flute as a member of the ing 100 band and participated in various other clubs and school organizations. While living in Station in the 70's she worked at Texas A&M University in the Texas Transportation Institute, the Deans office, the of Engineering and Department of Aerospace. In the early 1980s she moved to Brownwood where she gave birth to her sons and began her first business, known as Just Your Type. Before computers were on everyones desks, Linda worked for a couple of companies and utilized her special talents to train customers how to use word processing type writers. During that time she also worked for a real estate appraisal office. She was an active member of the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church, singing in the choir and using her artistic talents to make posters and signs for all sorts of occasions and special events. For a time Linda returned to her hometown of Smithville. She opened another business "Graphic Designs" and specialized in designing and producing various types of advertising specialties including, among other things, customized buttons, special event announcements, signs, banners and flyers. Linda's flair for taking the normal and making it outstanding was evident in her work. Linda later met her husband, Len Doiron, and they married in 2003, making their home in Austin. She worked for the State of Texas and continued to use her creative and artistic talents until she retired due to health reasons. Linda's ability to make friends and strangers smile and laugh was evident throughout her lifetime and can be seen in the many lifelong friendships she's made. She earned a reputation for being somewhat of a, some would say, "master" prankster, but it was always in fun. You never wanted to try to "one up" her because you knew that she'd always come back with something better ... or worse... depending on how you looked at it! Linda's love for her family was without end. She was especially proud of her beautiful granddaughter, Mary, and would proudly display her photos and artwork for all to see. Her nieces and nephews considered her the "fun" aunt. Having "hen parties" with her mother and sisters was always a favorite event, as were family reunions and get-togethers. While Linda never lived in Boston, she was without a doubt a die-hard Red Sox fan. Accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age, Linda was blessed to have gone to be with Him after a long and difficult battle with her health. She will be sorely missed by those who knew her, but her smile, quick wit and sense of humor will live on in our hearts and memories. Linda is survived by her husband, Len Doiron, son Nick Hatcher and granddaughter Mary DaMetz-Hatcher, son Andrew Hatcher, mother Helen Bunte, brothers and sisters, Diane Gordon, Bill Bunte, Charles Bunte and wife Kathy, Tommy Bunte and wife Carol, and Carol Georgi and husband Jay, 2 nieces, 5 nephews, 6 great nieces and 2 great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Granville Bunte.
